Well, I never actually came up with a good excuse. I always tell the teacher "Yeah i've done it; but it's too bad I forget to bring it". (I know it's lame but I told you I never came up with something good) There was this time when the teacher told me "You don't have to tell me that excuse. I know!'. lol pwn3d by the teacher :)

If it's a paper assignment, say that you had it in your backpack, and you forgot/couldn't zip it and it flew out in a wind gust1. There is no way they could get proof2. It is possible to happen, and since it's untrackable, they can't fairly deny it, and if they do, they are just being unfair and unhelpful, though they may ask you to "do it over"If it's a typed assignment, say there was a power outtage on the last word and you forgot to save, and that you don't own a UPS, so you lost your work, and you didn't have time to redo it1. Does your teacher really know if you had a power outtage or not? And stuff like that does happen, so it's nothing that could be helped2. By not at least making an accommodation for such a problem, that would just be unfair, and if your teacher was that unfair, that teacher shouldn't be a teacher, as a matter of fact, that teacher shouldn't even have a job

well, depends on how bad you dont wanna do it. theres the fakin being sick and not going to school. theres the printer broke and i couldn't do it. theres the unplugg the electric generator and get a power-outage, saying the computer lost power and lost it. theres the water got on my paper and totally destroyed it. and the last one i could come up with is the my back-pack got lost and my essay was in it. try it if you're deperate, be creative.

"If I reminded you that you are paid $35,000 a year and work long hours reading essays just for that, you would agree my homework contributing to that isn't helping, would you forgive one homework assignment?"Also there is"All you teachers ask for so much homework in one week my family printer ran out just printing out my assignments you gave me."

I heard alot of homework excuses and they actually worked to my teachers. They all say things like my computer broke, my printer broke, etc.

Easy. Tell them you didn't feel like it. That's what I would do. And did do.

Best excuse I can think of is... DO YOU DARN HOMEWORK! jeez! lol. Though I have had times when I totally forgot about an assignment and that's the excuse I use. "I forgot about it, I'm sorry (insert name of teacher here)." then you burst into tears and beg for forgiveness... Works every time! Just don't make a habit of it. :)And saying "My grandma was in the hospital" Doesn't work over time... If you frequently forget your homework or just choose not to do it, don't use that excuse too much or else your credibility will take a hit and your teachers might not believe you at all... Refer to "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" for details! :)

You can say that your cat got a hold of your paper and then show your teacher a whole bunch of paper scraps with illegible writing on them.

These excuses are pretty BS if the teachers were actually more smart but I guess they sorta cbf...I mean, look at an average school day. You get back home at 4pm, minus dinner and assuming you sleep at 10pm, you have atleast a 5 hour window to do homework per day.

You know what really sucks? The fact that teachers now expect you to have it backed-up and able to be printed elsewhere.None of these excuses would work on my teachers I don't think. (Intelligent teachers are bad to lie to. They have a habit of cornering you really quickly)

Um easy, I just play games when my parents aren't home and when they come home, I just pretend to continue my work. After that they ask did you finish your homework? I told them that the homework is so a lot that I can't finish them. lol I get away almost all the times. It may not work for you guys.

You had to take care of you're sick grandmother all day. She's going to die soon ^_^Of course... You wouldn't be able to use that excuse all year... but it's a sure hit when you use it :P
