I happen to be addicted to runescape, now before anyone goes off about this let me justify...most addictions that I have read I here I find fall into a common theme. Role playing games are addictive, because you sort of re-live that achievement of getting a high level or stat, any given number that will not allow you to advance further. The other games I think fall into efficiency or player comfort, where one becomes just outstandingly good or the game in their perception becomes overwhelmingly easy. In my case with runescape, I just find it addicting because it always hooks me in to continue on in whatever I was doing at the time.

I would have to say Chrono Trigger. I've played it about 20 times so far.
