the only mem card I've lost is my N64 one, but sometimes I misplace my PS1 cards but I find them every few months by accident.

I've lost two psx memory cards, one to the washin machine and the other to overheating. (the last one removed any knowledge of a controller in my psx when it was inserted. in the music player the arrow that you control simply disappeared when i inserted the memory card. :))

I've actually never lost one myself, but I did have a PS memory card destroyed when my brother stepped on it and I had a boyfriend lose another one. Ever since then, I don't lend my cards out

I knew a guy who lost his only memory card for his GameCube, and decided that it was time that he tried to beat Resident Evil, without saving (of course, he paused and turned the TV off when he went to sleep). He got up to the penultimate boss, was doing really well, then SHAZAM! He got killed. The worst thing about it was that he found his Cube memo card under his chair, and when he'd lost, he threw his GameCube out the window - I'm not kidding. Oddly enough, the 'Cube landed in a bush, so it was okay for the most part, no permanent damage, but he had to pay to get the window replaced (he lived in an old house). The moral of this story is: remember where you leave your GameCube memory cards. :-PI've lost PS1 and GameCube cards before, but that's only when I've been going to other people's houses, and I once lost my PS1 memory card after I moved house (this was before they released some of the earlier Final Fantasy games on GBA/DS, so I didn't have any other alternatives). Then again, I'm usually very, very careful with my stuff.

Thankfully, I have never lost any of my memory cards. But I do have a memory card that had problems and would sometimes delete files. That wasn't very fun.

Well I've never lost one myself. But I've loaned a couple out I've never gotten back. So my PS1 is lost forever, but I bought a backup Gamecube memory card so I could keep saving data on my Gamecube. I've learned my lesson and will never loan out my memory cards agian.
