Of course it's good for us! Keeps our brains active, reflexes sharp, and occasionally they're educational! Like okami for instance, learnt a lot about japanese culture. or brain training, for example.

In moderation, yes. Otherwise they can ruin your life (cough my little episode with diablo II 7 years ago causing me to almost fail 7th grade)

Fighting games tend to help me relieve stress sometimes. But other than that.. it gives our fingers a very good workout?

Yes, I do agree it reduces stress. But too much finger exercise can be bad. too much gaming also gives us epilepsy.

Console gaming helps your reflexes and pertains to how fast you can act in X situations, real or fake. In real life I play the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game (before you say anything, I've won a DS, an iPod Nano, and a Laptop as well as money and cards that I can easily sell to other players), and when I post on Yu-Gi-Oh forums, I've learned many things, such as: Increased Vocabulary, Better Grammar, Better Spelling, etc. whilst actually playing the game helps reading comprehension (sp?) and math skills.

gaming is good because it stimulates your brain to think, even in fighting games..but just make sure you aren't being manipulated by the games (such as killing someone because you like GTA games, etc)personally, i think ALL games is good

Too much of anything is bad. I think Nintendo is trying to help rectify some of the drawbacks of gaming by getting people physically active with the Wii.

Studies have shown that children who play action video-games tend to have better eyesight and notice more details than children who don't, so I guess that would be a yes.

What Zero said was on the news a few months ago. It helps you have better perifial vision and make you more able to spot diffrent things, or notice things. It stimulates thoughts and ideas.Yeah, I would think it is good for us. And I'd be quite surprised if somebody on this forums says it is not^^

I'd say gaming is screwing with my life real bad. Not that I have a life to speak of, really. Still, I have reflexes because of gaming, and Wii Sports Boxing seems to have done something. O_O
