It depends. Too much has its obvious disadvantages. But the hand eye coordination you get from many fps can come handy... no wonder many scientists say that the best hobbies that will improve a performance of a surgeon is sewing and video games!

Depending on what kind of games you play it could give you a work out.And if you are a fattie who's too embarrassed to leave the house to go to a gym, go swimming, or jog on a trail then you can play DDR.

I think as long as you balance your time between games and real-life, then games can be good for you.I've made tons of friends with people just through talking about games we like, and whatnot.I think games are good for you to a certain extend. <_<

Gaming is a fantastic stress reliever. Plus, it allows us to take day dreaming to the next level and experience some fantasy's that otherwise would remain only a daydream. Entertainment is great at that. =P

Gaming is fun but it can be dangerous! Just like anything else, you can get highly addicted to it and waste your life away. Make sure you do things that are priority first before you play. You can make a list of things to do first and then what time you have left can be used to play games or whatever else. Hope this helped out in some way.

Gaming IS good for us, but only the good games. It's a pain to play some crap like the games by DATA DESIGN for the Wii!!!

I think it depends on what kind of games you play and how often you do it. Also how it affects you. Some games are very beneficial for you (strategy and (REAL) tactical games are good brain exercises).Shooters are good for hand-eye coordination, but usually dumb you down a bit.

Well, you can get smarter if you play education games, many games help strengthen our vocabulary, increase eye-hand coordination, reflexes, and sometimes help us be more social with other people.. The downside is that they're addicting and make us lose our eyesight.
