probably if im rich or if they stop selling consoles at high prices ie PS3 the price of the console is enough to buy a new pc with a 19 inch flatscreen from dell and thats with cash to spare

I both hope that I do and hope that I don't. I want to see myself in 20 years as an old, mature man that reads book and work my arse of to afford the expensive life I want to live. Games will always be a part of my life, it have been for many many years now and I can only hope that I give some of it up to live life instead :(

As long as the gaming industry doesn't crash, I have money/time, and good games keep rolling out, I will never stop playing. Hm... if only I could live forever and see where gaming goes (or doesn't go).

I dunno. I used to play videogames everyday in elementary school. Completely stopped in Middleschool. Kind picked it back up in highschool and now I'm at the point where I have access to a Wii, a PS3, and a 360, yet I don't even care nor do I even play them often. By that I mean the last time I think I touched them was a couple months ago

The industry will never die, eventually we'll have full virtual reality gaming and limitless possibilities. Who wouldn't want to play a game where you colonise a far flung planet through the eyes of a single colonist, especially when that planet is actually being colonised as you play? You'll feel like you're on the front lines, contributing. And lets face it, as games get more and more intricate, they'll be more attractive and engrossing!

Definitely. I will never lose my cravings for good RPGs. Why do people tend to think that 'Games are for kids. Be an adult!'? I mean, sure, I won't be playing those animation-ish games like Spyro in the future(because I probably would have lost my interest in it, not because I'm shy to play it), but stuff like Final Fantasy, Disgaea, Digimon? Definite yes.

I can't say that I won't. Even as I get older, and my hobbies change from time to time, the biggest difference in my gaming is whether I'm in my own personal era of playing online, or playing offline on my Nintendo DS or my Playstation 2 or something. That's really the only thing that changes from time to time with me. Also, my friends still play pokemon stadium 2 for the nintendo 64. I'm not sure, but that seems like a sure sign that we will STILL be gaming in 20 years.

I am 20 years old, going on 21 in about a month's time. Age is nothing but a number. If you really enjoy the thrill of video games, than there is no reason or excuse for why you wouldn't play them in the future. Case in point, one of my idols, Pharrell Williams. He is a prime example of someone who continually indulges himself in what he enjoys.

I don't think I'll ever be able to stop playing video games, they're just a part of my life that will never go away. They offer a place to escape to and have fun.

I would like to think i would play forever, but there is a problem! I actually hate all this 3D/HD crap that is coming out. Now all the games systems are going this way, its just not the games i want to play! So, unless gaming stays about the same as now, i doubt i will be playing in 20years time. In fact, if it carries on i will proberly stop sooner then that. :milo2:

I certainly hope so. I do detest the stereotype that most people hold of adults. I do hate that most of these adults conform to these stereotypes. And, that being said, I hope I never become one of these stereotypes.
