Lets see... I've started when I was three, and now I'm eighteen.Five more years left to go, and I'm not planning on missing any Zelda or Silent Hill games, ever.

I'll always play, but if gaming continues to drift in the direction it's going I'll end up spending the rest of my life enjoying the old arcade games.

I'm hoping in twenty years time they will have star trek style holo decks. You wont be playing games you'll live them. And I will definitely be playing games and loving life.

Gaming offers so many potential directions that I think it's almost inevitable that more people will play as a continuing part of their lives, however hardcore or casual that may be. I shall certainly be along for the ride.

COMMUNICATION TO TAKE OVER (Incomplete Rambling You will enjoy reading)With different forms of media coming out it seems to be giving us "the user" more of a choice in how to entertain ourselves. Now the thing is, what about games do we truly enjoy. Is it actually the gameplay? To me it seems that its not. Gamers seemed to exploded only when the communication aspect of it all came "into play."Games like World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, AND A **** LOAD of real time strategy games. For most it seems that it in fact isn't about gameplay that draws people to games. It seems to be COMMUNICATION!and as it stands now it seems like forms of media like Facebook is slowly taking over the "gamers."It seems that the best idea is to tailor media to the users in the most profitable way.And by what we have showed that isn't game play but communication.Just look at the sales of iPhone.Things as such is smally about gameplay but it is strongly based on communication.ETC ETC ETCthe user doesn't seem to want gameplay.WE WANT COMMUNICATION!To be honest it seems to be heading in a direction where gaming is going to be put aside and no0t focused on as much in the years to come.NO YOU CAN'T GET RID OF VIDEOGAMES!! but it seems it will be fraction'ed in the actual quality.

It really depends on the surrounding factor, family friends and the likes of gaming..If dota would still exist in 20 years time, i would play it at least 5 times a week

Yes, yes I will.My gaming addiction is to heavy to only have 20 years to give it up :PBeen playing games since the age of 5, that's already 20 years gone so I can easily see myself playing games when I hit 45 as well.

I don't know, I'm still playing, but I'm doing it a lot less than I used to, I've been unemployed for the last two months, yet I don't think I've played more than 12 hours in total during that time and I have A LOT of unfinished games, I haven't even opened assassin's creed 2 or red dead redemption, I think it's possible I'll stop playing games some time during the next 20 years, but I'm still excited for upcoming games and I have a huge wishlist, so I don't think it will happen right now

I think that I will continue to play games 20 years from now. So long as they don't all become gimmicky and perpetuate themselves into an art form, I think they'll be around for a long time to come.

As long as I make it 20 years, then yes, there will be some semblance of the A and B buttons,a way to control player movement, and a piece of plastic held firmly in my hands.

Of course, I plan to continue playing games and enjoying myself until the day I die. My age shouldn't be a factor in why I would want to play video games.
