Only one of the best Nintendo series' ever! Zelda! I kept dying, though... More than Devil May Cry, even. I've never been too good at games that don't involve leveling up.

The first game I played on the NES was some ooooolllllllllllld Labyrinth maze game. You had to try to find your way out of the place in less than thirteen minutes, though you could get more time if you were tricky.

Actually the first game I played was 1942 at a friend's house. We beat the game that day, and I begged and begged my parents to buy me a console. They made me work for the money before they took me to buy it though. I worked mowing lawns for a couple months before I had enough saved. Games were so expensive when they were new. I probably mowed six or seven lawns just to be able to buy one game.

Arkista's RingCrystalisOr Mario Brothers, I don't remember which was my first NES game actually. I have always played games as far back as when I was 2. My parents figured if it kept me quiet and out of my mom's hair then it was fine.

My first game was Donkey Kong, because we lost the Mario cartridge the night we got it and rented DK from block buster.

Haha, yeah me too. Super Mario 1 and Duck Hunt, great stuff. I just found a video on youtube that has people acting out duck hunt in an anime convention, it was funny. :good:Also I've got like, seriously a box full of NES games, it's crazy. Robocop, Super Mario 1,2, and 3, Donkey Kong 1,2 and 3, q-bert, tetris, dr mario, etc. Lots of awesome games. Anyways this wasn't on NES but the very first game I played was Fort Knox, on the commodore 64. That was fun.

Wow! That's lucky you still have those games. I bet you could sell them for quite a bit, if you wanted to. Dr Mario is a suprisingly fun game, i spent ages playing that. Sad really.

Well my is strange because I played the NES at some friend's houses before I ever got one myself. I seem to remember the first game I ever saw was Super Mario Brothers. When i finally got my own NES, my first game was Blaster Master since that was the game that we bought when we bought the NES itself. That game took hours to play since it had no password feature and I'd always die in the end so I never was able to beat it until I played it years later on an emulator.By the way, nice to see someone mention Crystalis...that game was so underrated...just a great game.Stevo

I think it might have either been Super Mario Bros. + Duck Hunt or Super Mario Bros. 2...Not actually sure. I was like, 4. >_>I do have better memories of SMB2 though. My Dad used to play that ALL the time, and I loved to watch him beat it. I never could beat it myself back then...

Dragon warrior 4 holds a place in my heart and always will but unfortunatley it got lost pretty quickly and i had to wait for an emulator to finally beat it. First game and first love
