last I remember, first NES game I played was either Super Mario Bros. or Zelda II Links Adventure.......both great games in my opinion

I think it was probably the first mario brothers game. Either that or Zelda. Think we got them both around the same time.

If this wasn't already obvious: The Legend of Zelda! :( I wasn't around when NES was created, but my grandma used to have my dad's NES so when we went over, we played Zelda. I never got passed the first dungeon. And yet, using ZeldaClassic, I'm on level...5 I think...maybe 6 or 7. lol Graphics do wonders for gameplay experiences. :(

I was about to say that it was also Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt for me, but no, there was one before that I played! It was some Sesame Street game...not Speak and Spell, it was earlier than that. I remember Ernie in a bathtub and having to create pathways or something for the rubber ducky, and something about a ferris wheel and spelling three letter words to make Sesame Street characters dance....I was only 3 or 4 years old, cut me some slack! X-D
