I dropped mine too at a smooth, flat, marmol floor.My DS split open at the left side (arrow pads).I was so mad at myself for dropping it accidentally, but good thing my parents got their bonus pays for them to buy me a new one!I bought a Lite then afterwards, so much for the old DS. I got it repaired and gave it to my younger brother after that.
What's the worst thing thats happened to ur DS?

the worse worse is when i dropped mine first ever ds in the river when i go fishing and forgot i have my ds in my pocket and it fell off, i could never find it again

I dropped mine on the pavement and caused the game I was playing to freeze, but it wasn't anything fatal.

I have dropped mine plenty of times. Sometimes it got scratched, the L button is a little loose, the hinge thingy to open it broke a bit too. I drop it alot, and my cell phone too. It pisses me off. ><

I was playing a game with my friends and somebody came up to me and said "Hey check out this magnet I got, do you know what it does to my DS its soo cool", ARRGGGHHH I was like noooo cause he scratched it all over the front and back of mine. =( nows it has pixel troubles and its got deep scratches on the back and some on the front.

It dropped out of my pocket and right near a parked van. It took me a while to figure out I dropped it. So we went back and retreived it. It has a tiny scratch or so near the volume button but it's okay.

meh, I had the common breakage of a DS. I was merely walking on floor that my brother DUSTED on so it was slippery and I slipped and my DS was thrown in the air and it fell, it remained in one part but the touch screen no longer works so half the games I own couldn't be played but I had a warranty

Not much really! Like everyone else, it's been dropped a few times. My kitten's been biting the stylus so the end is bent and it falls out of it's slot really easilly now lol.

my friend dropped it cos the charger wire snagged on the chair arm (computer chair) but it landed on its face (i almost had a heart attack) it left no marksbut the worst thing that happened to my DS was when it got rain water damage, my jacket had a hole somewhere so the water seeped in, the DS was in one of the inner jacket pockets (i ddnt knw about the hole and thought it was safe)when i got home it was soaked, myb 1/4 of the pocket had water.i took it to a repair show and they were able to revive it

a dumb friend used a real pen instead of the stylus on the bottom screen, now its full of large scratches and i decided to just buy a new one

The worst thing that happened to my ds is i let my younger brother use it for a day. He ended up dropping it and its all marked up in the top screen one of the brackets that hold the bottom and top together got busted. It still works thank god but im thinking about buying a new one
