Well my current ds, ive dropped it. thats it. But my previous ds, was ran over by a street cleaner. T.TRIP first-gen DS.

the worst thing that happen to my ds, besides dropping it, was when i was playing while sitting on the floor, my nephew tripped and landed right on my ds, now the top screen can stay still

I'm terrible with my DS(s). My first one was the orginal, I managed to tear off the entire top screen. Then I got a new one and accidentally got jelly in it (looooong story). I just hope I don't do something stupid with my new one...

i know most people have horror stories about breaking their ds....but for me, ive never damaged my ds, but it doesnt seem to stay in my possession....i first let my best friend borrow it....he still had it on his birthday, so i let him know in a card that he could keep the ds as his present....i bought a new ds....lo and behold, the first ds was stolen from my best friend....so as you can guess, he eventually borrowed the second one....as for where it is currently located, it is currently MIA at my best friends house....probably never to be seen again....lol

Mine got crushed in my backpack and that black mark on the top screen that looks like liquid is stuck there. I use the touchscreen for gba games anyways.

Um i waiting in line on black friday for a cheap ds at walmart for over 5 hours.... just for the ds i needed nothing else but besides that ive loved it and have let nothing bad befall it... cept letting my little sister get her grubby hands on it to play. D:

The time it got played by the grubby hands of a kid who didn't know when to use a stylus, or the time I dropped it. Or rather, the twenty times i dropped it.

i dropped it and it snapped in half the top screen and the bottom screen were broken apart i had to wait months for a new one

My mom plays a lot of tetris.She's also a hardcore button smasher.My A and up button were murdered by my mom's fingers and her buttom smashing. I have to press them like 4-5 times to actually get the movement or confirmation from the buttons.

My hinge cracked on my DSLite. Just a random pressure crack. While I was putting it back together I accidentally caught the ribbon wire for the screen on the metal ring in the hinge and tore it >_<

Accidentally dropped by my friend and the corner of where the power light is located, got snapped. almost split the top and bottom screens. Luckily, i got a new case for the DS but now the touch screen is acting up. works but is not calibrated properly even when you use the calibration settings on the DS.

Either something is wrong with the recharger, or something got knocked loose inside my ds, either way, it refuses to recharge, and none of my friends have a ds. At least I didn't have that many games for it anyways seeing as that stuff happened a few months after I got it....
