Yes, I agree that TP was a sequel, but it doesn't mean they needed to directly rip off the concepts of the dungeons or plots from OoT. Just because it's a sequel doesn't mean the Zoras have to be frozen AGAIN. Not to mention that Windwaker was even more of a sequel to OoT and it was vastly different from OoT. Plus plot-wise, the Zelda games are VERY loosely connected. Most can be played in any order and not miss anything.Me: For one, it's clear that they just wanted to create a game that was as similar to Ocarina of Time as they could. The recycled MANY of the temples from that gameYou: For one it takes place after OoT so in theory it's a sequel and you would realize that if you played any OoT version
Notice I put the word "almost" in there. Yes Yes, I know there are SOME that require some strategy but they make up about 5% of the enemies while all the rest are a total joke. It was almost a boring chore to fight enemies.Me: almost every enemy can be defeated by you running up to it and spamming the sword button. You: DarkNutThe ice warrior's with javelin'sBig guy with the AxeDesert Temple Boss
Again, Windwaker was a sequel and had drastically different graphics. I think they only did the "adult" graphics since so many kids whined and complained about Windwaker's graphics. What's funny is how Windwaker looks more childish yet is much more challenging than the more "adult" looking TP.Me: Then with TP they make a complete ripoff of OoT with more "adult" graphics and people drool over itYou: Goes back to it being a sequel
Dude, I played the Gamecube version...I've never even tried the Wii version. It still wasn't any better.StevoMe: I think this was because they had to simplify things for the stupid Wiimote controller which ending up hurting the game emenselyYou: Explains a lot Most true Zelda fan's will agree with thisThe Gamecube Version was a lot better than the Wii versionAnd i may be a Nintendo "fanboy" but the Wii is pretty crappyIf ps3 had the same control's wii would be laughed off the marketAnd you need to realize TP was developed for Gamecube which was ported to wii as part of the gimmick of selling consolesGoes back to Nintendo promising it would be on Gamecube
