If it wasn't for that long, boring quest to find 12 (or six I dont quite remember) shards of the triforce, windwaker could come very close to twilight princess in overall presentation/gameplay. But yeah, twilight princess OWNS!!

I liked both - but I've put more time into Twilight Princess (Wii). It seems more real too than Wind Waker (GC) did. The motion controls were neat, too.

I just borrowed TP yesterday, so I can't really give a full opinion on it. If I had to guess now, however..I'd say Twilight Princess. t's been very exciting, and it just feels a lot better than Wind Waker. I loved Wind Waker, in fact..I think the graphics were amazing, almost perfect! But Twilight Princess just seems funner as of what I've played.

Wind Waker. Twilight Princess had little side material while WW had tons of stuff to do. Being a wolf, quite frankly, was boring.

Twilight Princess. I haven't played Wind Waker, so that's a point.Besides, in TP, you can be a wolf. And there's Midna. And there's the word "Twilight," which is my perosnal favourite word. Too bad there aren't so much sidequests in TP :(

In my opinion, Twilight Princess completely owns Windwaker. Here are my reasons: Twilight Princess has better graphics Twilight Princess has a better storyline Twilight Princess has better gameplay Windwaker can get boring fast Unless you have the song you need, you need to travel for a long time to get somewhere Overall: Twilight Princess Rules!!!

Windwaker was easy, and Twilight Princess was challenging. When I'm looking for a lot of fun and adventure, I play Windwaker. When I want to demolish a serious, intimate plot, I play Twilight Princess.

Wind Waker. I couldn't even finish Twilight Princess. Not because it was hard (Actually felt like the easiest) but because it was so boring and I lost interest. WW had great humor and it was fun as hell exploring.

Twilight Princess was horrible. For one, it's clear that they just wanted to create a game that was as similar to Ocarina of Time as they could. The recycled MANY of the temples from that game (forest, fire and water temples AGAIN!?) (Though the last two temples were okay). Then the recycled the plots from those temples too!! Goron Elders trapped in the mines? The Zora world frozen AGAIN? Zelda captured again? Good Lord, it got tiring. Then you had the game's difficulty which was a total and complete joke...almost every enemy can be defeated by you running up to it and spamming the sword button. (I think this was because they had to simplify things for the stupid Wiimote controller which ending up hurting the game emensely). This was definitely the most disappointing since this game was billed as being more "adult" in nature which implied to me that it would be more difficult which was completely false...especially when it was the more "childish" looking Windwaker that was a least SOMEWHAT more difficult. Plus they throw money at you at all times so it's never an issue buying anything. The sidequests were poor and unoriginal and basically a ripoff of the skulltula quest from OoT and the minigames were something you tried once to get the items then never played again. Not to mention they even had an unoriginal final battle...it starts off with the same tired hit the energy ball back and forth" fight used countless times by now, followed by the incredibly lame battle with the beast Ganon where all he does it run around aimlessly. Then they HAD to put you in yet another cliched swordfight with Ganondorf because all the fanboys drool over cliched swordfights...might as well go all the way and give them lightsabers while you're at it. And seriously, the lack of difficulty took all joy out of these levels...when there's no challenge or originality to anything you're doing, it's hard to get into it...by the end of the game I felt that finishing the game was more of a chore than anything.I'm sorry if this is going long but this game pissed me off. We had all these fanboys whine and complain about Windwaker having kiddie graphics and complaining about the triforce quest while ignoring that the game was very good, tried something new with the island format, had many creative dungeons and had lots of fun sidequests and hidden places to explore. I especially loved the Figurine Quest which was challenging at times and took a lot of time. (Not to mention that the triforce quest is not that bad if you don't wait until the end to retrieve them all...you CAN get them as you go through the game, you know). Then with TP they make a complete ripoff of OoT with more "adult" graphics and people drool over it. And I'm sorry...the graphics are not BETTER in TP...they're just drawn differently with a different art style...the graphics aren't any better than Windwaker. Just because a game LOOKS more adult doesn't mean it IS more adult. If there was ever a game geared more towards kids, it was TP. Heck, even Phantom Hourglass is new and a creative way to make a game even if it is easy...TP can't even say that. TP is easily the worst Zelda game ever made and make me wary about all future Zelda games that may be on the way.Stevo

For one, it's clear that they just wanted to create a game that was as similar to Ocarina of Time as they could. The recycled MANY of the temples from that game

For one it takes place after OoT so in theory it's a sequel and you would realize that if you played any OoT version

almost every enemy can be defeated by you running up to it and spamming the sword button.

DarkNutThe ice warrior's with javelin'sBig guy with the AxeDesert Temple Boss

Then with TP they make a complete ripoff of OoT with more "adult" graphics and people drool over it

Goes back to it being a sequel

the graphics are not BETTER in TP

And graphics's wise i realize that the used way to many reflective Map's

I think this was because they had to simplify things for the stupid Wiimote controller which ending up hurting the game emensely

Explains a lot Most true Zelda fan's will agree with thisThe Gamecube Version was a lot better than the Wii versionAnd i may be a Nintendo "fanboy" but the Wii is pretty crappyIf ps3 had the same control's wii would be laughed off the marketAnd you need to realize TP was developed for Gamecube which was ported to wii as part of the gimmick of selling consolesGoes back to Nintendo promising it would be on Gamecube

Ooooh! Now this IS a toughie.Since Windwaker was the first Zelda game I really got into I have to say that's my favourite. However, Twilight Princess just had so much more going on in it. The monkey temple annoyed the heck out of me but the fact you can turn into a wolf was fun. Though it lost it's novelty after a while admittedly...Battling multiple enemies was a lot easier in WW. The bit on Outset Island where you have to battle through many levels of enemies is so much easier than the similar one in TP where you don't get any extra life at all, ever. But yeah, I prefer playing WW than TP
