Which storyline do you think is the best for the PS2?I have only two personal favorites of storyline.1)Kingdom Hearts - It's perplexing storyline of the heart & keyblade just drives me to the edge of my seat. With it's compelling mysterious continuing and it's great games and manga. If you were to really bite into this kind of story, you'll be sucked into it's mystery and wanting to know every bit of detail there is to know.2).Hack - This is another favorite. The fact were they bid the real world and the cyber world is just magnificent! They set this kind of story where you'll be hit with twists (This mostly meaning the .Hack shows) and great game play (This regarding the games). The fact where they set it on how a mere popular game has much more deeper meaning to it, and how this can gradually affect the real world. This is a game that you'll definitely want to try first hand before you make your comments on.

GTASA is ok, but it's mainly a free roaming action game. Not much of a good storyline added.. FF games I haven't taken the liberty to get into but I hear it's ok..

I really liked shadow of colossus... i think it's story line was one of the best i've seen in a long while, and it was even better since it tied in so nicely with ico, which is another favourite game of mine

Silent Hill 2. The emotionally rivetting tale of a man going back to Silent Hill, desperately following a letter from a wife who was supposed to be dead two years ago is one of the best story I've ever seen in a videogame period. The twist was also as creepy as hell, and the ending was pretty sad. Maybe I'm an emotional sap, but it moved me to tears. Beyond that, it works as a really good psychological horror story, as the environment, and the other less than stable characters you meet in town hint at what is really going on behind the scenes.

creepinson, what's ico?And waltersullivan88, the way you described Silent Hill, made me think that it sounds like more than just a horror game. I might just check it out.. Thanks =], but one dilemma... It's a M rated game huh? =[

Well FFX is a must play if u want great storyline, it really sucks u in, I played for 8 hours once without realising it lol. Kingdom Hearts 2 has a good one too, ties in really well with KH1 and KH: Chain Of Memories. And there's the Kessen games, which deal with the whole Japan fuedal war stuff which is great if ur into wars and everything

I gotta second the soul calibur ...but ff12 is definately up there..Star ocean had a very compelling story line...but it was just SO long..

I like .hack story the best so far. But if we were to extend the selection to PS1, I'd say FFT's story was best.

KHII. The first one was slightly weak in the story area, but they really brought the series is own feel with the second one.
