That really happened? That's really weird... Is it just a glitch? Hopefully, it works next time.cloning pokemon is a way that most gamers do to get multiple version of the same pokemon, usually it is a one time only pokemon. I believe that in Gold/Silver/Crystal, you can clone all pokemon except for a porygon. I once try to clone my porygon, and the only thing that happen is that its data was erased from my pokedex. The pokedex did say that the porygon data is copyrighted, I never thought that it was serious. I just wanted to have both a porygon and a porygon2.

It is possible to clone pokemon using a cheat, but i have never tried it.
