I did up until June. I got it for picking up my sister from school each day. Now she's going into middle school, which is far too far for me to walk her home from (I don't drive), so... bye bye allowance. *shrug* It's nothing major, it was only $50 a month anyway. Just sucks because NOWHERE around here seems to be hiring, and it was my only income.

I used to get $5 by washing the dishes, passing the vacuum, or watering the lawn. But I kind of procrastinated away from it. Now my parents are complaining about how I'm never doing anything around the house.

I'm supposed to do the work around the house. According to my dad, "I made you to do this crap. Do it. I made you so I can take you out of this world." I have never had an allowance, it would be nice to have one though. I'm supposed to get a job and earn/buy my own things. Rarely do I get stuff bought for me, unless its for school (paper, pencils, and stuff like that) or presents on Christmas & my birthday.

I get lunch money from my parents then don't eat lunch at school so I guess thats my method of getting an allowance.
