a mate of mine has a 360 and is stuck on the very last boss on gears of war........and he stopped playing it!!!! FOOL!! am i the only one that must keep playing it until the game is completed no matter how bad the game or is everyone else like my mate?

Once...And I regret it. Final Fantasy VIII. I got to the end, and I hadn't really buffed anyone up, except Squall...so I quit. But later, I went through the game again and fixed my mistake.

Once in Dragon quest IV my memory card stopped functioning and i didnt started it back i had over 60 hours

I given up many times, mostly on Zelda games. I cant never complete a puzzle game.

I started, and refused, to finish Vagrant Story. I just couldn't keep myself interested after the first 10 hours or so of play.

final fantasy 2hated it so muchquit for like 2 years, but beat it eventually, it wasnt worth it

I'd never quit playing a hard game, its what I live for.. in fact even finding any game worthy of this "hard game" title, is the only game I will NEVER beat.

We're on the same boat. I was already at the final boss of that game but I needed to level up everyone. And I was playing the advance version which will enable me switch my characters from previous ones. Then someone just forgot to include my save file when he reformatted the computer... urrgghh. But I still haven't given up on that game. And the rest goes to other games I'm trying to beat (Namely: MS SAGA). thats why i perfer simple games, like wrestlingfightingand sportsrpgs just get on my nerves, with the long amount of hours they take, and suddenly...BAM! a corrupted file.

I have never finished Batman on NES, GTA 3....cause I got sidetracked by killing everyone and turning riot on....I could still beat it...just had more fun killing everyone. the rest I can beat easy so I might just quit playing then b/c their not fun like a particular bond game

I... sorta give up. What I do is, I'll be trying to beat a game that is seriously irritating me and then I just quit trying. But all I do is wait until the next day or the day after to try again. Because by then, I don't feel like chucking the console across the room. Usually I can beat the game then too.

Sadly I stop playing games in the middle of them too often. I usually get caught up in other business so I forget about them. I actually made a list the other day of what games I still need to beat.

I have given up on FFXII and it is sat in my room collecting dust. I can't beat Vayne and I am so bored with it, constnatly pressing x, rolling away, castin curaga, rolling away, hitting x, blah blah blah. I just got fed up of seeing Vaan roll around on the floor, so I put the game away. I'll complete it eventually. Oh yeah, Digimon world on the PS1, I can't beat Megadramon and my ultimates keep dying, I get max stats for everything and by that time they have about half an hour left of gameplay and they die.
