Roy is the best swordsman. The Fire Emblem games rock. Marths okay to but Roy would kick his bu anyday.

Link all the way, not only is he skilled in the Ancient Arts of SWORDPLAY but his "mental capacity" also mallows him to master other skills as well.(Something i cant say 4 roy or marth- as they only have the ability to wield swords and single element based magic).dont get me wrong i like roy and marth but in a real fight (even if only with swords) link would disassemble them both in a matter of minutes.in SSBM i hav 2 admit that link does lack the power he so truly wields but they had weaken him to make space for roy and marth, so u see link is the better swordsman

no offense BUT YOU ARE ALL FOOLS!!!! Go the swordmasters of fire emblem, such as Guy from Fire emblem 7 i think it was, they got the high evasion rates and the high criticals, though a bad point has to be their pitiful defense, like one hit and their g0000000ne! otherwise id choose nobody, their all good, too hard to decide

Link without question as he is able to do all sort of stuff with his sword. marth and roy are good swordsman but they are a little too slow to be in the class with link, he is fast with his attacks. Link is also very strong and sword- oriented.

Maybe if you take link...but if you fought me as Roy, you would lose. Roy is by far the best swordsman especially in SSBM. I just power up his swing and when they jump at me, I slash them right off the platformI say Link because in SSBM, Link can kick Marth and Roy's butt and also Link has better games

Roy by character definition alone. In an all out brawl link would probably win due to bombs, arrows, boomarangs, hookshot, and cheating little fairies.

Link, though in SSBM I have more natural talent with Marth. I could win more human matches as him the first time I ever seriously tried then I could as Link, and I'd always used Link. I think it's because the other players in my group all used really fast characters.
