Roy is brilliant in fe6 just give him sword of seals he whups donkey. But Marth just owns in SSBM with his dolphin slash ( I think thats wot its called)

ya about that, everybody says Link is the better swordsman dude. but i seriusly think is samus ofcoarse all of u guys are crazy....lol...nah Link is the best thing in nintendo and the best swordsman even better then jackie chan!!!

Marth is amazingly fast, which always will come out on top. Plus the blue is a very interesting touch.

Got to be link... i mean come on? but if your going on about ssbm then i would have to say marth/roy, roy for extra power but you can quite easily use marths agility to give you an extra edge.

Link FTW because he is just awesome, he looks way more awesome on Nintendo Wii The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess and Super Smash Brothers Brawl.btw Roy is slower than Marth and Link in SSBM.

I like Roy personally. He has that awesome fire attack.Link however, I don't consider him as much of a swordsman even though the sword was his primary weapon. He was also proficient in his other weapons.

i like link better cuz he is strong, but also because, in all the games, acording to me, he has shown most promise. i have played most all the Legend of Zelda games...

I'd pick other, the other being Ike from FE:Radience cause he completly kicks donkey once he gets the Aether skill who wouldn't like to deal a hit that reduces the opp.'s def by half, and another that heals the user! along with near unhittable evasion i think ike would be a much better swordie

People overrate how strong Link is, he's not even that strong and he kinda cheats, he relies on all these fancy weapons and gadgets to win, he couldn't do it with his sword and skill alone. Now the best swordsman is probably Ike. The reason I say that is because the guy just pwns and his max stats are very high and just totally own. Roy and Marth I think are very close too, also Eliwood, he's also very good.

Link hands down because he's just to cool. Besides that marth and roy only come as a close second even though I find myself playing with roy pretty much in smash bros.

I like roy and marth but link has to be the best cuz hes more than just a swordsman he uses all kinds of weapons and he has all kinds of different moves and not to mention theres more games with link giving differnt versions of him like in the windwaker and the orcarina of time
