I must disagree, I've been playing for over 100 hours with just one char to see if theres anything better than the dusk/dawnsword and or a better bow than the perfect madness bow, so far... inconclusive... On-Topic:I wonder where it will be next? maybe they'll make more expansions before they make another game, I mean there are still some islands you cant get on, and there were more questions unanswered when you finish shivering isles. so maybe they'll wrap up IV before they make Vyea i agree it is boring after you play it for over 100 hours

Bethesda is currently working on Fallout 3 which should be just about done. Hopefully they move onto TES 5. But my guess is they will probably spend time making expansions for Fallout 3. TES5 could be possibly... NEXT GEN?!?! maybe not... (rambles on)

since there are no statements from Bethesda about a next release on the Elder Scrolls series we can't say much. I'm a Elder Scrolls fanboy, loved it first time i played it (as soon as it camed out) and still do, even knowing that it's been some time since i last played. I'm sure there will be a new title, cause Tamriel it's a HUGE place, and there are still alot of kingdoms to explore. Personaly I would like to get to know Morrowind better in a high def scenarios and stuff, and they could make an Elder Scrolls with two kingdoms. About a release date... i think that Bethesda will anounce something about a new Elder Scrolls title next year. keep B) [ ]

Basicly you will have to patient because the longer it takes for it too come out shows how good it will be because they have already started to develop it so the longer it takes it juist shows you how complex this game will be

I own arena, daggerfall, morrowind, and oblivion.And beaten all except arena, which is a terrible game. To be realistic, the next elder scrolls will probably be released in 2010 at the earliest, 2012 at the lastest.There doing fallout 3, you know.Also, anyone who doesnt like elder scrolls is too stupid to understand the complex story and lore.Why dont you go back to your tekken or grand theft auto, or halo because its obvious you are only interested in mindless, button mashing action and games with zero story.Elder scrolls isnt for you, and you dont deserve to play them anyway.

Considering they build a new game engine for every game, I don't think that we'll be seeing another ES game on this current generation of systems. I've played Morrowind and I waited for Oblivion, and that was a very long time. It's a good thing that Oblivion is such a big game. We have alot to do until the next game =)

well 1 year's pretty much impossible m8i'm guessing 3-5 years insteadthat is if they're making oneIm thinking that it will come out in 1-3 years on the PS3 or Xbox 360.

I hope it comes out in around 3 years, but it will probably be 5-7 years, if they want it to be as good as oblivion and morrowind were at the time.

I spent so much time on oblivion I'm almost not looking forward to 5 cause it'll take up all my free time. I'd almost prefer that they take longer cause then the world willbe even more incredible
