sony do make good memory cards, the only thing though is that their only 8MB, it would be nice to have had larger ones from themi think yes even though it will cost more money

how do you consume so much memory in on your memory cards?I have like over 30 games, and still have 2MB plus left on my one and only memory cardyes they should create a bigger and better memory card....I'm running out of space on all 3 of mine

i have had so many corrupt... i had to buy quite a few to replace what i lostsometimes you can't save a corrupted memory card...something with a little more protection would be niceall the new technology from sony and they still can't get a good memory card made

Yes and no. In the PS3 they have totally taken the memory card away, it is unneeded for the new day and ago. Meaning they would need to make one for the PS2 and the PS2 only, there is not as much money going into this as there was before the newer system came out. In the eyes of a company that large older things are no longer in import.

I mostly play sport games and they are memory hogs! You can't get more than 3 or 4 different sport games on one 8mb card.8mb Is way to small tbh. But also it matters which game you play. Some games take up masses and masses of memory for each save game.

There are 3rd party memory cards. i've seen 8, 16, 32, ... 128MB of 3rd party memory card.

i don't trust 3rd party after my ps1 incident....still w8ing for my sony ps2 card to die....kinda makes u wonder why didn't sony make a larger card though...

if it is only 8mb, and it is not enuf for u, then u need to buy MORE 8mb memory card. and that means more revenue from memory card to SONYi don't trust 3rd party after my ps1 incident....still w8ing for my sony ps2 card to die....kinda makes u wonder why didn't sony make a larger card though...

Lol Most of your memory cards sux... my ps1 memory card got washed along with my clothes twice but still works... i havent tried it on my ps2 memory card though... And I think 8mb is too small specially for games that consume so many space like star ocean for example

Im pretty sure sony do make bigger ones, i was in my local gaming shop the other day and there was a large space memory card that was 32mb im pretty sure and wasnt too expensive

If they start making 1g memory cards for the PS2 which i dont know if they have or not, then wow that is alot of game saves.
