Yeah, at least double sized or something.. 8mb isn't nearly big enough, and they're so expensive.sony do make good memory cards, the only thing though is that their only 8MB, it would be nice to have had larger ones from them

Yea definitely make a bigger memory card. I have like 34 games and half of them take up like .5 mb. It's crazy.

of course, some people have a lot of games and need more memory without buying multiple memory cards so i think maybe a 128 mb memory card should be made

i have 9 compleatly full 8meg ones (i no thats a lot) so yes i could defenetly use a better one (my 32 meg ones always crap out after a while) so i defenetly think there should be a better memory card.

The memory cards sony makes are fine, there is nothing wrong with them although 8MB is kind of small.

It was adequate at the time of the PS2 release, but they should have created/released memory cards with higher capacities as time went on. Part of the fault lies with game developers, though; some games have ridiculously high memory requirements if you want to save your progress (e.g., one of the Timesplitters games actually required 8MB, which is an entire memory card).On a related note, one of the best things about the 40GB HD package was that it left you with plenty of space for backup memory card savefiles.

Actually, they have 16MB cards out too, and mine was only 5$ more than the 8MB card, definately worth ithope they will...8MB is too small..

I agree that sony should make better memory cards. The last time I played Kingdom Hearts, it refused to recognize the memory card and I wasn't able to save anything, even though I knew there was enough space on the card, the PS2 itself recognized the card, and the last time I played KH it allowed me to save to that memory card.

I wish they would make a bigger memory card, like a gig or so that way when they stop making them like they did the PS1 mem cards I won't need to wipe the 3 i have to make room for new games.

I have two of 8MB. It's more than enough. I just "clean" them once in a while.

yea they should make a memory card that you can put lots and lots of games.because i only have 3 games saved on my memory card that takes lots of space >
