I just wanted to add to my previous comment on where i said the ending was not that great, well I played it again and got the "good" ending and it is definitely a lot more rewarding for someone who actually is into the story and the characters involved. Thats all I wanted to say.

Bioshock was great, but the only prob i had with it was its length. But with all the outstanding graphics, effects, and the AI, you dont have much more room for length! All in all, get the game USED if you can, beat it in 7 days or less and take it back! Simple as that.

Bioshock was a great game, I was expecting a little more creepiness (guess I was hoping for a spiritual sequel to System Shock 2). I really enjoyed it and the graphics were great.

bioshock has def. made its mark in the gaming history, will truely be one of the best but im really waiting for the new resident evil! ZOMBIES !

bioshock is seriously such a good game, i have to say it is even better than Gears! haha, but as for H3 we will see, thats gonna take alot cause it only beat gears by a bit, but its not the most regular game either

Yeah, if you have the money to buy Halo 3 strait up, dont get rid of it... unfortunatly, i dont. So on sept. 25 thats the day im saying goodbye to by copy of Bioshock.i dont think you should get rid of it after you beat it, theres going to have downloadable content soon enough.

wouldnt put it on par with the BEST EVER [tes4,mgs1+2,ff6 etc] but its reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaly good game..everyone should play it

I played this today and... to be honest, I wasn't wowed. People say it's such an amazing game and I just can't see what makes it better than the Halo 3 BETA.I mean, that was a BETA and it captured my heart better than Bioshock did in a couple of hours of playing it.

Many people would find that as a positive trait, not uncertainty of the developer. Take Deus Ex (*emphasis on the PS2 version... not xbox) for example... Or the idiots that liked Jade Empire for its mutli genredness..they couldn't pick a genre and stick with it, it is an FPS/Action-Adventure/RPG.
Can you say idiots?(pop)Over-anticipated games are always trash......(Cough... GEARS OF WAR....)It reminds me of pop music, overrated crap... But stupid blonde girls like it...It deserves high marks but not as high as all the graphics whores and noobs seem to be giving it.

bioshock is, by far, the best game i have ever played in my life. however, i may think halo 3 is the best game ever when i finally beat it, but that will only be because of the epic storyline in it (but in the end, i'll still believe bioshock is the best, deep down).

the graphics are insane and i think the story line is so original.This game just looks Sick! Amazing looking graphics, gameplay, and a story that sound spellbinding.

BioShock was great!Although gameplay was pretty generic for a first person shooter, the game played out like a movie.And it had an amazing storyline.I wouldn't say it was a great game, so much as I would say it was a great experience.It reminded me of Max Payne.Decent gameplay, amazing storyline.7/10

Bioshock is amazing, fun game. And the atmosphere can be kinda scary at 2am in the morning - especially when a younger sibling decides to creep up upon you at the same time a Splicer jumps out of a morgue. Scary stuff.Not quite a Halo killer however, if only because of its lack of multiplayer capabilities.
