I never listen to the sounds on games, and I was wondering what some of you guyses favorite songs to listen to while gaming are?

Never listen to music cept the music in the game. Or on xbox on THPS i will put custom soundtrack on.

The music of the game, however i usually use custom soundtracks in the sims, i think the "real" music its very important to feel the whole experience

I'll usually listen to the music in game, until after about the 100 hour point. Then I'll start listening to pre-Black-Album Metallica, Elexorien, Ministry, Opus Dai, and MegaDeth.

I listen to the original soundtracks to the game until I beat it. In that case, I listen to my favorite songs so it helps me play batter.

Depends on the game. If I like the ingame music, I choose it. Otherwise, I play Linkin Park/Three Days Grace/Disturbed/etc

I ALWAYS listen to music when i'm on my computer or console...I can't live without music, I don't know how you guys hold on without music, it's GREAT

well if the game doesnt have its own soundtrak ill listen to seperate music but if it does ill sttle for it, either way i listen to it

get itunes, find some sweet songs and make an inspirational playlist...these songs should and will cause you to play at a higher skill level...

When I play, I tend to tune out the music. I stop noticing it after a while because I'm concentrating on the game. I've played with music on before but it's never done anything for me.

i would be listening to a lot of the bgm from the game itselfbut since it damages my sensitive eardrums i turn all sound off when its up to mesilence is golden

If I like the music, then I let the game play the music and if not, it's either I shut the volume down to mute or listen to the music I like on the radio or iPod!

I listen to either the in-game music (usually that) or my MP3 player.

After I get sick of the music in the game, I just turn on my playlist. Course, some games, like a lot of the Squaresoft ones, have soundtracks that you NEVER get sick of.

i listen to music on my IPOD shuffle while playing racing games as most the time i listen to dance as that type of music is fast and gets you thinking that your going faster

Music distracts me from games although it is my other lifeline. I just listen to the game sounds for if I do listen to music it's hard to concentrate and tell what you're doing without sound effects. And mixing both is a no-no =P
