Orange League probably the only if any league where he beat te tournament plus the gym battles where interesting.

The first season is the best. The other seasons are repeats of it.

My favorite pokemon season is when i was a kiddo, i think it would have to be the first season in the beginning, the kanto season it was in french for me so, it was something different at my ageanywais after all that the season were boring

The Master quest of Johto League was partially my favorite because the graphics started to change a little from that 'rusted 1990 anime look' to something more current.I never really saw anything past Advance Battle season though and only caught glimpses of Battle frontier.I have tried to get back into the DP series and I try to stay updated but I still remember the days of the Johto league....

Indigo League (Kanto) because it's the original. I love the original of everything. The games, the cards, and the show.

I personally favor the origional episodes of the basic 150 (plus mew). Although Ash was a novice as the series went on themes became repetitive and charcters changed and not for the better. Durring Team Rockets 1st encounter (particullry Jesse and James) were very confident and more (or atleast seemed to be) dangerous. But as the series continued it was always the same blasting off again, and they became more and more incompetible. The 1st sign of their ultimate downfall was (not the attack at Mt Moon) but on the S.S Anne when James was conne dinto buying a Magickarp. The idea of that episode is that team rocket already stowed away on the boat with the intention of stealing so why did he buy it fair and square. It is later revealed in the series that James is actually rich but gave up that life to be a member of team rocket with Jessie, who apparently has a full past including being a ninja, engaged, breeder, contest coordinator/particpator. Finally Meowth had several chances at happiness but he continues working with Jesse and James and hopes to regain his spot as top-cat withGiovanni.**Side note: in the origional pokemon from japan James was origionally a female but changed into a guy (that dresses femal alot) un the american version. Also the origional theme was 3 min 15-23 seconds and included a guitar solo and 2 stanza, it was used in 3 unconsecutive episodes before being cut to 1 min 23 sec.**The seasons are based on the region... so basically, I prefer the Hoenn Season and Kanto Battle Frontier... Probably the Hoenn season is what made me like Pokemon... seeing as Ash gets a new outfit, May becomes not just a sideliner, but a co-main character... having her own episodes... =PHow about you guys?

Kanto had to be the best everything was fresh and new! Now the entire series plot can be summerized before it even airs [Ash cathes one of the most common basic pokemon of that region, spends 5 pokedex episodes (episodes they use to introduce a new pokemon) traveling to each gym/contest with two other people, loses to one gym leader then rechallenges them 2 episodes later, has a rival he hates, gets to the pokemon league and loses to some random guy(that was introduced 3 episodes before) in the semi finals. goes home sad, gets an invite to the battle frontier of the area or goes to the next region.] Now I don't know about you but that gets extremely boring but I won't deny that i keep watching. Though can you remember the good ol' days when you couldn't wait to see charizard rape the comp. just to think to yourself wow ash sucks i would have won this 4 hours ago! Or how team rocket used to be somewhat of a threat and had some decent reliable plans. Now this is just me but i still will always choose a Dragonite to lead my party and not some weak Garchomp but i will admit Garchomp is actualy the only bad a$$ pokemon in the sinnoh region that i would have in my party.

Johto was my favourite, but I think that was just because of the really cool theme song! Aside from that I can't really remember much about Pokemon, except that the earlier seasons were definitely the best ones.

I would have to say the first pokemon was the best! On the first season everything was all new and fun. We didnt expect to see pokemon and when they came along it was like "WOW, Ditto is so cute!" or whatever, i think the newness of it made it the best show ever. As for the later seasons, pokemon was old and you kind of expected the pokemon that would appear in the game.

INDIGO! To me theres only 151 pokemons. Thats all. Lugia and those are a bit here and there, but no others.

Indigo League is defiantly my favourite! It had all the original pokemon and characters( no voice changes....i can't get over the current changes right now)!It was when Pikachu came along! and then the super sad and epic first episode!Butterfree 
that episode made me cry so hard ....i can't remember when pigiotto left if it was in indigo league or not....

I personally like Sinnoh the most, but of course, Kanto and Johto are just plain classic. Favorite gym leaders are from Sinnoh, though.

The Indigo League is what got me into Pokemon in the first place. I love it the most for nostalgic value.

The original Pokemon series that started it all in the Indigo League is my favorite for sure. I was a kid at the perfect age to be sucked into the pokemon tsunami that was about to hit the states. It was awesome and basically made me a nerd for life.

my fav is the johoto mainly because the starter pokem on for that season are my favorite and i personally thought it had the best story compared to the others
