for some whacked up reason yes cause i liked the digimon cards and pokemon and yu-gi-oh still one of my favourites though

i used to play yu-gi-oh, pokemon and duel masters. but its boring so not anymore.

hmm for me back then i really didnt play those card games, rather i collected them. Back then i collected, digimon, pokemon, magic, and i think thats it.it wasnt until recently ive been playing naruto tcg, bleach tcg, yugioh(retired 
), i play ragnarok online tcg(its in korean) i really like these tcg, back then i really didnt understand how to play, i just like hte pictures on the cards and it was really cool if the card was shiney...even if it was a crap card. Now its fun, and depending on the game u can be so creative and outsmart your oppenent. i kinda wanna get back in to the pokemon tcg... i just gotta presuade my friends to get back into it with me.

card games is good. like yu gi oh n pokemon . or VS system. naruto oso has card game but it is in japanese so i nv play them.n e picture of e card is nice too. like e background of e pokemon card. it shows e nest of e pokemon. some background of e picture express e pokemon very well .
ya. i did buy e whole box of booster. den i will confirm have some good cards.. =.= means if u really wan a good deck must have good cards u wan good cards must spend money buying it.. =.= money fly awayi used to play yu-gi-oh, pokemon and duel masters. but its boring so not anymore.

Not really. Most card games bored me really fast, because... well... they're cards. Not much fun playing around with pieces of ink on paper. But my brother is really into collecting Yu-gi-oh cards though, so maybe I'm just weird.

The card games are great like yu-gi-oh and pokemon... but i usually play them at the computer rather than the real cards because they cause too much... I mind the strategy and the moves but I usually don't watch them... I prefer playing the cards with my tactics...

yu-gi-oh i played, and it was fun for a while. but its too simple of a game. i like MTG way better, which isnt an anime based card game, but whatever. but as for card games based on other non-card themed animes, i would love to play them- IF! if i had someone to play them with other than like, one other person. the card games of naruto and bleach arent popular enough to be any fun. there isnt anybody to play with. i guess they're cool if you like collecting cards or something

I think all of the anime card games are to hard to play except for Yu-Gi-oh. It's pretty basic.

Is it just me or is everyone in this forum forgeting the One Piece TCG? Seems like everyone talking about the most popular ones instead of the newly-came-out ones.

While it makes sense that people would use children's television as a platform to push their merchandise, it gets wearing after a while. There's no substance to any of the shows (Yu-gi-oh, Digimon et al) that push the cards down our throats - they're more or less 30 minute commercials. There's no substance to the card games derived from the already established shows - they're more or less rehashed versions of MTG with popular characters tacked on. I'm kinda surprised that ANYONE actually plays trading card games based off of anime.

Play the card game no.. i would not but i would collect a few cards you know just ones that look cool just to add to my collection of naruto stuff

I used to play the Pokemon Trading Card Game, but fogot how to years ago. Guess I just lost intrest in it. I still watch the show and endure the new voices as best as I can...

Well, card games are all fun and games until the franchise does start milking it for all it's worth. Pokemon started with 150 pokemon in total - then they had to expand when sales went down. Same with Yu-Gi-Oh: now there are cards that are too overpowered and make no sense.Plus the fact that watching an anime is free while I have to spend money on these crappy cards (and the fact that most "rare" or holofoil cards can cost more than 20 dollars each... they're pieces of shiney paper/cardboard for cripes sake!) makes me not want to play. I'd rather just buy a pack of regular playing cards and entertain myself with those...

yeah i do play. but the obvious ones- yugiohthe gameplay is more ok than that of the naruto, etc...

Actually, very few of the games I listed in my last post are anything like MTG. I'm also a hardcore MTG fan. Now, to add onto my last post, I missed a couple card games. Someone else mentioned the One Piece cardgame already, which from what I can tell works a bit like the FMA one, and I also forgot to mention the Gundam Wing card game. It was actually quite fun. To add on a bit about non-anime based cardgames, I'd also like to mention the Star Wars ccg, Simpsons tcg, TMNT tcg, Neopets ccg, and Maple Story ccg. The star wars one can be difficult, and isn't that much fun, the simpsons one is relatively simple, but also not much fun, haven't experienced the TMNT one, the Neopets ccg is one of the worst things ever created, and the maple story ccg isn't bad, but I prefer MTG, Vs. system, and WoW tcgs over it.While it makes sense that people would use children's television as a platform to push their merchandise, it gets wearing after a while. I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh, but it got too obsessive, but I still keep my cards, maybe they'll be worth something in the future.

ive once tried to play another game than yugioh but it seemed more complex and boring than yugioh
