i think we all want long games... we didnt spend 60 bucks for a short game and to not be able to return it to gamestop for a full refund

I prefer midlength games. Seven hours is too short, eighty is waaay too long. Look forward to 30 hour games, myself.

Long games! I can't stand feeling like I didn't get my moneys worth because I beat a game in under 10 hours. It needs to have some meat in it!

I guess longer sometimes mean that it has good replay value also? Yeah, I definitely like longer games. However, for shorter games like Phoenix Wright, I like to spend hours on them until I beat them.

one should also take replay value into account. if you cant get tired of the game, then its better to be long. deep racing games like Gran turismo fit the bill perfectly

It depends. I usually wish games were longer. Games like MGS4 and The World Ends with you are games i wish were much longer because of the storyline and gameplay. I also feel this way about kingdom hearts. The games are far to short for me. Games like pokemon though...pretty long but fun in a never-die kind of way.

Longer games have more value sometimes, but other times you just want them to end like Fallout. On the other hand short games are great sometimes and have a good replay value.

The longer the better, as long as it have a plot! Otherwise, if it's long and it doesn't go anywhere, no thanks.Short games aren't really preferable, but I do enjoy some...although it leaves that lingering feeling that something is missing.

It depends on the game, Like Katamari's short, but it's one of my favorite games. Longer games are fun too, but only if they can keep from being repetitive. Once it gets to fighting the same monsters for hours on end, the game kinda fails.

Well, I like longer games better. I feel like I get more for the money I spend. And, with games that have great stories (mostly RPGs), I like them to be long, so I can enjoy and live the stories that I am given. Kingdom Hearts, for example. Mmhm. :P

I prefer long games that don't become to repetitive in a boring manner. There are some out there but not as many as I would expect by now. There are some, such as Kingdom Hearts, that just captured my interest, and kept me going until the end, and then some. I do however, like short games, that were very enjoyable, and have a lot of replay value. These games are also lacking in number, of what they could be. Overall, when you sift through the crappy games, glance past the mediocre games, play thought the good ones, and cherish the great ones, you'll find that whatever the length of the game, you'll put quite a bit of time into them.

I really really want a game that is long like hell, perhaps 70 hours or more.. but, I have a very high requirement, I do not want the game to be too repetitive, games like rachet and clank is a little too over repetitive, but it is still fun overall..
