i dislike a game that is finished within a few days of playing. I've had games that lasted me months. thats what i like. being able to play a game and not lose interest.

Well long only if its worth the time. i like finishing games fast but thats because i spend WAY too much time on it so i usually finish it in a few days, not because i like shorter games. longer games tend to have nicer storylines.

I prefer longer games since I end up investing more time in them and then they become all that much more important to me.But the occasional short game is a nice break.

Short games on the condition where every single mission is stunning. eg. Call of Duty 4 and Max Payne 2. Bothy very short games but each mission was gold. Remember, Quality over Quantity! >=(

I'd say a long game is too much, and a short one is too boring. I take medium.

I prefer long games opposed to short. With longer games there seems to be better story development.

Depends on what the genre is and how fun the game is to play and replay, I mean games like Mirror's Edge and Sonic I love to replay and beat in a single sitting but rpgs need to be longer, but I hate it when they add length by making you walk slowly then advertising the lengths but the majority of those hours just aren't fun and are a waste of time, so for everyone saying the longer the better, would you like a game the size of oblivion where you can only move 1/10 of the speed you do in oblivion?

I prefer longer games, especially for RPGs. Short games make me feel like I wasted hard earned money.

I'm an RPG gamer, so naturally I prefer long storylines and lots of advancement. Otherwise I just feel unfulfilled. =(

Depends on the game, but I usually like longer games since they often have better story telling capabilities. I always feel kind of disappointed when a really good game ends because there is little point left in playing it. I don't like short games, even if they have good replayability. I don't like replaying games because the story for me has already been exhausted.

I gotta say that longer games are always way more satisfying, shortness is only excused by replayability and even then, the best short games always make me want more.
