longer, its better value and usually more in depth

Not true some games may be longer but it doesnt mean the game is better for it. Most games suffer and will lose theitr audience cause it dragged on for too long and did not keep the game entertaining and non-repetitive. In reality i prefer a game that can be as long as it can be while staying fresh, fun and exciting. Not reptitive. For example brutal Legend the game was about 8 hours long but they new when to quit. Theirfore making the game alot better then it would of been if they fluffed it out for another 12 hours. Another example Dragon Quest VIII the game got way to reptitive and lost your intrest in the story mid way in. A great example of entertainment ands length however is Final Fantasy series. Becuase they always find ways to make the game fresh throughin and out. with a great story and new battlemechanics almost every 20 minutes for a 70 hour spain you just cant help but enjoy this nice pace. Grand theft auto IV is another good example of that pace.So in reality i prefer what ever lenght makes the game better.

I love you longer games. I like games with stories where you can just keep playing and following the story. But I like when little puzzles are included, like side stories, or side quests.

I'm a fan of both. I love games that I can finish in a day like Uncharted, Uncharted 2 or Heavy Rain, because it's just got a great story that wouldn't be as fun to play through if it was dragged out for hours and hours of gameplay. But at the same time I love games like Fallout 3 and Final Fantasy where it'll take me a week or two, playing five hours a day to get through the entire game. It all just depends on the game really. I don't care what the length of the game is, as long as the length of the game suits the length of the story.

If the game has a good formula and can keep it fresh, I like longer games. But short games can be pretty sweet.

A good very long game that continues even after the main story line is a good game for me.

Long games. I would be really happy if there were more things to do after the game's main ending was concluded. But Pokemon doesn't seem to count so much...:|I've seen nice games, but they're too short, which makes me sad...:gs:

I really like long games. The longer the better so that I can enjoy playing to try and find out what will happen. If the storyline is bad, however, then a short one.

Maybe long maybe short it depends on how the story is set because some games that are long, the story has excuses to make it long is just boring. Like you gotta get this then that just a lot of pointless runnin around.

I prefer long games, although with the exception of games like Disgaea, we really haven't seen that many content driven games since the "16-bit" era that aren't graphics heavy.
