Longer games, preferrably without grinding or repetition because they have a better story/backstory. But there are some good short game (Portal).

Longer games are the best. If a game is long, the money is worth it, and I have something that keeps me occupied.

I prefer the long games since they have a good story, otherwise I prefer short games, if they are well created.

I like longer games better or I like games like grand theft auto when you beat the game and you can still have fun and do different things. I like Alan Wake but the game is really short so I like longer games better than short games.

It depends. If the story is just gonna drag on and take forever to take care of one plot point, I'd rather it be shorter. Though if a game lasts less than 20 hours, no matter how good it is, I'm not going to think it's worth it.I love when the story is interesting and well-paced, I know what to do and how to do it, and it still takes 70+ hours to get to the final boss.

Preferably long games, but not long like Final Fantasy and Pokemon games which take about 100 hrs to beat. Somewhat 15 good hrs is good enough.

I personally prefer longer games, as long as it fits a few criteria, most of which can be applied to all games but you can notice these problems easier when you've played a game for an increasingly long period of time. the story line should be intuitive and creative, and should flow well with the development of the characters the characters should feel believable or at least interesting, otherwise they can seem a little too 2Dthere is a limit as to how long a game can be before it grows tiresome though, over 80 hours can be a bit too much unless it's a damn good game.

Personally, it depends on how well the story develops in the time it is given. Usually the case is: In long games for a well developed story but there is the occasional short game that's story is developed at a fast and understandable pace. Over all, I prefer a long game though because I can savor the story while I can.

Long games that aren't long because of grinding or scene switches and movies. I love a nice long puzzle adventure/rpg game with a good storyline. Of course, a short game with a nice story is just as good, but I'm always left wanting more.

i don't care if the game was long or short what matters is the difficulty and the gameplay but that's only my opinion but i think a lot of people have the same opinion as me

Long games stick with you (pun) but if they get so long that you don't complete them then i usually hold the game as a disappointment.

short games are boring and have a short storyline.long games have a great storyline and most of the time a better gameplay.for me i would choose long games because you can play longer without finishing games and having to waste time looking for a new one. :P

It depends really. I like both short and long games. Long games need a great story to keep you enthralled, but short games need to have amazing gameplay. The best short games are action pack.

Like Keigai pointed out, it really depends on the game. Some games should be short otherwise a lot of the gameplay would just be repetitive. Likewise, some games need to be longer in order to tell their story.Anyway, I'm more inclined towards shorter games since I can lose interest in games rather quickly and end up never finishing it. >_<

It seriously depends on why the game is long. If it's long because the developer stuffed all of the empty corners with crappy busybody quests and boring collectibles, then no, I'll take a 5 hour game.I'm pretty fond of short games in general though. Arcade games or indie stuff tend to rub me the right way.

Long. I like spending long periods of time on long games. When I finish games, honestly I'm a bit sad.. because I don't want the game to end yet ):!
