in video games, the longer the better, but i will only like it if it provides a great story, gameplay, and character development

Personally, I really do not care if the game is long or short since I tend to take a while to beat it no matter what happens.

Short games, play them, get it over and done with. Don't need to waste a week, when I only need to waste a few hours.Long games can be boring sometimes. But it keeps me busy for longer.I prefer middle games, but with replay value. But as long as it's interesting, not "find all the hidden coins and get this unlockable character that does nothing besides VS mode play."

Long games are always better, they give your moneys worth. But with short games sometimes they make it more action packed.

Super de duper long games as long as it doesn't have long stalling parts were nothing happens. Like where you have to crunch in lvl's like 25 to pass onto the next stage.

Well I like long, well detailed games, with a very good plot.If it's about a good plot, the game can not be long enough.

Hmm... I say it depends on the quality.Short games must have absolute replay-value for it to be worth your time, but long games should have a good story to progress as well as an awesome ending. However, I tend to lean against long games, because replay value is rare unless it has multiplayer.

Longer games they keep you buisy and are usually better than short games because short games go by too fast and you cant soak in the story

Depends on the game.If its an RPG, the longer the better.I hate shooters with long stories, at least nowadays. Now, I only play shooters online, if I do the story its usually only for achievements... So in that regard, short.I don't care how long a story is to be honest, crap gameplay doesn't make up for a good story.

I think short games are better cause it might be that I loose the intrest in them and then if they are long I wont finish them....I would just delete them....
