I generally like longer games that take at least 15 accumulative hours to complete. These would be role=playing games that have complex stories and sub-plots that take time to explore. I love those. ^_^ I don't like slasher games or shooting games or whatever...or Mortal Combat or any games that are somewhat like that because of the lack of plot.

I love long games, its kinda like reading a book, except more fun, and i hate when the story has to end.

This is truly a tough question. For someone who grew up in the SNES and Sega era, short were the thing back them, so I am a bit partial to them. I still play Sonic 2 quite a bit still, and that game only takes about 2 hours. Yet I do enjoy very long and indepth games. Because my favorite style of game is and RPG, extremely long games are the norm. Baldur's Gate has probably taken me over 20 hours, and I am still not finished with it. Even the earlier RPG's took a while to play through, such as any in the Final Fantasy series, yet the classics will remain fun to play, and attempt to increase the speed in which you beat them. For me, it all depends on the type of game. Some games I throughouly enjoy being short, while others I like being longer. (RPGs)

long because long games are a pleasure of when you finish the game, or short games with alot of side quest. these are the things i pick.

I prefer long games, but I will add one important caveat. If is a game that centers around a story, as most modern games and pretty much every rpg does, than I hate it when it seems like the game drags on to the detriment of the story just for the sake of being a longer game. If a publisher wants to make a game with a lot of "length value" than do that with side quests and optional character development. A game that really got this right imho is Mass Effect.

Long, difficult, and engaging games are way more fun. If a game is long than its usually hard, and thus lots of fun.

I don't see why anyone would want a short game. I mean even if a long game gets boring, you can still leave it and pick it up a few months later. However if it's a game with an amazing twist ending like the MGS series, then you have to make it moderate so that people stick around for the end of the game.

Long games are always better. For me, video games sometimes become a way of life! The longer it is, the more I get into it. Just like books. The longer the book, the sadder I am to see it end. With Video Games, it's symmetrical.

i feel that the longer the game the better. i hate games that are over within a few hours of playing with easy to crack levels, there is no pleasure in that.

How about mid-length games? ;PNot too long, not too short.I don't mind short games as long as they have a somewhat decent storyline and some replayability.Long games are good but if you want to play them through again it might take a while.

I'd like a game that wouldn't be too short, or too long. If it's too short, it would leave me wanting more. If it's too long, it would make me want to go onto something else. A balance is needed.

I prefer long games due to they are normally more challenging, and can develop a better plot line. Short games tend to be short and boring, and why would I pay money to play a game for a few hours and then finish it? Long games are almost always better...
