Guys!!! I NEED HELP!!!I just can't beat the event matches like Protect Yoshi's egg..do u have any hints?!?SOMEONE PLZ HELP!!Can someone also inform me on the so called "Black Hole Glitch"?THAT WOULD BE GREAT THANKS!

You should see the other Topic about The black hole glitch. I didn't see it yet :)About the event match;You should just pick your best character, get the egg when the Event starts and just avoid all the attacks.It's all about luck I guess; I finished the Match at the first try.

Run around a lot and pick a character that has good defense rather than offense.

i thought u had to use yoshi when protectin the egg....well if i remember rite i was yoshi and i just picked the egg and started runnin and jumping like crazy

YEAH LIKE I AGREE WITH HIM AS WELL you have to yoshi grab the egg and go it really simple

Yes the age old question well, I would really recomend going as Kirby or Jigglypuff(preferably Jig as she/it is more adept for the egg) as they have the best flight.jumping ability. You must protect the egg sop make sure you spend as much time in the air as you can. I personally did it as Kirby but those are my best recomendations.

All of you are WRONG. You HAVE to use Yoshi in this Event Match.My tip is to grab the egg, run to one side of the ship, wait till your enemies follow you and then jump to the other side. Just follow those steps since you have a chance of breaking the egg yourself if you keep button mashing in hope of killing off your enemies.

That is easy, just try to keep as far away as possible, and try not to attack.And about the black hole glitch, this video will help, I did it once and it requires 4 people:

Actually Shipudden, it can take 2 people but it's very difficult. 3 people help though as 1 can control the super scoping, 1 can control both the 2 Foxes (or Falcos), and another can control Peach. For 2 people, 1 controls the 2 Reflectors and 1 can control the SSing. When the Super Scoper has gotten the pattern of shooting correct (so that green blobs are appearing between the Reflectors), the guy controlling the Reflectors can switch to Peach and the SSer can stop (before the game lags to death). Peach then proceeds to throw 14-16 veggies into the scope line between the Reflectors. By the way, something extremely useful to note about the Protect the Egg event is that the CPUs DO NOT intentionally attack the egg. Their goal is to beat Yoshi off the stage period. Fortunately, this event is treated as a timed melee match where you have infinite lives (I believe) and the only thing you really need to do is leave the egg in a safe spot where combat is not occuring (or will not go off the edge >_<). Kills are all part of scoring a record.

Yes, you can see Giga Bowser by playing Event Match 51 or playing through Hard or Vhard Adventure to the end. You'll get his trophy if you defeat him without continuing throughout the whole thing.

You can also see him by playing normal difficulty. They actually attack the egg. I just stood there when the game started and they ignored me and went for the egg. I would suggest getting Yoshi or Kirby, grab the egg, and float around the stage until time runs out.

Really? Huh, guess I haven't played for a while. Well, come on, the task is still pretty simple as Yoshi's double jump provides great recovery as well as ways to kill time in the air.

It's also best to pick a fast charcter such as Fox or Falco so that they can avoid incoming attacks quickly,

Try using Princess Zelda; her B attack serves quite well to keep enemies away. :P

Link's shield isn't just for show, it blocks every ranged attack sent your way, as long as you're standing still

what you do is get kirby get the egg and start floating to the opposite side where the enemy is at and the black hole glicth is a pretty big topic that you should search on gamefaq.com it explains everything and how you conduct it

I chose young link because he is very[/u] fast and lithe.... Just evade till the end and DO NOT THROW THE EGG as weapon... just pick it up..

For the event, make use of Yoshi's (somewhat) invincibility during his second jump. It'll help a lot. (Just keep running)

i grabed the the egg jump around in till the ship fell and as they stated to jump to the platform i egg then down
