I don't get why people don't like Mario Party 4. It's one of my favorites, and my sister and I have put so many hours into that game.

The origional was the best. They started to get a little too silly after that.

In my opinion, the series has been on its way downhill with more and more gimmicks since MP2. In fact, they all sucked after MP2. Especially the one on the GBA.

Mario Party 2 was amazing; best games, best maps, best story, and I loved the duel feature.

Mario party was awesome, played like 10 times and still didnt' get bored with it. THey shouldn't have made so many mario party games.

mine would definitely have to be the original, Mario Party 1! although mine doesnt save... <_< its still fun going back and playing with some of my buddies. N64 was great

i reckon mario party 2 is best. it has good board maps, and the best minigames.i used to think mario party 1 was best, but then i borrowed from a video store, and realised how boring it was

the earlier games were ten time better then the new ones, and the stupid balls...god i hated those.

Mario Party 5 had the most intricate maps IMO, but then MP6 was awesome because they finally varied the way of winning (i.e. instead of buying a star with coins). The Mic games were a plus as well.

They're all the same, but Mario Party 8 for the Wii, I loved the interactive controls.
