I'm still waiting for the psp remakes............for now i guess I'll just have to play SOlll:Till the end of time and the Jap rom of the original....guess I'll have to add SO4 to my list......LO LO Lukana!!1

UPDATE.The game will be called Star Ocean: The Last Hope. So Star ocean 4 is coming now. Pretty glad because the first 3 were great some might say better than most FF games.

I loved Star Ocean 2... Gotta love that 255 level cap.(Ashton is the Best!! 
)I played Star Ocean 3 for several hours and still was still stuck in the begining area drugging through boring story setups none of which were the slightest bit interesting, at which point I quit playing it... for good... Games need to "put you in the action" early to get you hooked on it, why do I care about the characters story if I havent got the feel for the character yet, SO3 was a dismal failure in my opinion. SO3 felt nothing like SO2, and don't even consider the same... Kinda like Xenogears and Xenosaga, the earlier successful one spawned the latter, but are so different they can hardly be called the same series. I hope SO4 is more like SO2 and nothing like SO3...Doubt it, but Well see...And if it does end up being a Xbox exclusive that will really hurt its sales, the developer is a fool to exclusify a game like this, thats prolly barely gunna sell as it is...Its Sony's own fault, they screwed the pooch and let Microsoft scoop up a lot of Sony's Exclusives, such as Final Fantasy, Ace combat, and Armored Core, it seems that Sony just doesn't care to maintain its relations with developers... sadly... I've noticed Sony has always had an arrogant attitude...I think Sony really needs new management because the things they have been up to recently really makes me shake my head, the only smart thing I think they have done in the last 5 years was to include Blu-Ray technology in their PS3 console... in the coming years that will really give them an edge on Microsoft's Xbox which is still using the DVD format.

I've always enjoyed the Star Ocean series, I was introduced to it with the second one on PS, and bought Star Ocean 3 as soon as it was released. I don't agree with the guy above who said it was too slow to start. Video games don't have to be about instant gratification, some people actually enjoy a good story line.I hate that it was made exclusive for the Xbox, I was so looking forward to the next installment of this game, and I will never own an Xbox. A Wii maybe, but I'm a sony guy.

First its called Star Ocean not ocean star (learn to use caps to) and if you could speak right it would be... Star Ocean sucks, i think it was a bad game...Second you probably didn't get of the first world if your spelling/gramme is that bad... you got to actualy play a game to like it not give up because its to hard and say its a bad game.Third they invented something called Earth mode for noobs like you.yeah ocean star sucks is a bad game

Star Ocean 3 was a decent game, but for the most part I did prefer Second Story. It's worth finding a used copy of it for PS1.The graphics were a definite improvement in Star Ocean Till The End of Time of course, but I prefered the storyline and feel of Second Story.Sorry but i have only played Till the End of Time,
although i loved it and might just buy a X-box 360 just to play it. XDAnd as for 1 and 2... i wish they would hurry up with the remakes so i could play them to.

i want the game BUT i HATE english voice overs, with the notorious quality of past dubbings im quite dissapointed to find out there wont be Japanese Voice acting with subtitles. i mean its HD DVD discs! they sure as hell can fit that on with a 3 disc spread! and why did they not release it on PS3? then there would be no excuse not to have Japanese audio with subtitles with that ammount of space per disc. xbox. sigh.
