I had the misfortune of getting the ds lite before they made the stronger screens, so my screen is badly nicked. The casing for my ds is SO BAD that I had to get a plastic shell casing just to hold it together. It's from dropping it all the time.

I dropped mine ONCE. I have never done it again, since it was on a gravel driveway and it scratched the top. Thankfully, it was closed.

Well, I once dropped it on the pavement and got scratches on it and the L button got broken, but still works sometimes. The bottom screen is horrible.

I would say that my DS is in a good condition, been biting the top left corner of the upper screen so some bite marks there and ruined one stylus because i tend to keep them in my mouth when i don't use them, so i bit of part where it holds itself togheter in the DS so it fell out in a friends car and I couldn't find it again. Otherwise just some unnoticable scratches on the top. That's about it for the damages on my DS:P

I would say my DS is in almost perfect condition, the only downfall is a few fingerprint marks on the touch screen <_<

I'm pretty anal about my stuff, so I have a cloth that I use to hold it when I play. I think it's in pretty good condition; I haven't dropped it, I use screen protectors, and I don't stab the screen when I use the stylus.

Aha, I have a launch DS, and it's in a terrible condition. The right hinge is broken, I've dropped it God-knows-how-many-times, I'm using a pen instead of a stylus, there are scratches everywhere, the calibration is a bit iffy, and I haven't cleaned the screen... ever.At least it still plays games. :s

I take great care of mine except mine came from my ex who didn't take care of it since the battery sucks. However, the condition of my DS lite is good. :o Oh and I lost my original stylus. Ha ha.

I take care of my ds lite well, there is no sign of age on it except a scrapes on the touch screen, i sometimes press on touch screen with too much power that it seems like there is a trace of glitch following it, which passes when stylus is off there. and the place with a code (just up of the slot 2 heading) doesn't seem quite well. The cases seems to work good.

My DSlite/DSI are both literally glowing. I didn't think it was possible to take to much care of them! I worry that one of these days I will wear a hole right through them with one of those electronics wipes. But otherwise, they are B-E-A-Utiful!
