>_> i find that really uncool, the cycloDS has support for SDHC but the usb microSD card reader doesnt, looks like im buying a 2gb one then. As for buying SDHC, you can go on amazon and grab a 4gb one for 45 US.And i find the ingame menu feature pretty coolies, ill be able to give more input after i buy this product :D

i have one its really nice and you can use microsd cards biger then 4 gb i contacted the company that makes them before i bought mine they say you can besides you can put any text file on it and read it with moonshell as long as its not in rich text format and any video or song by encodeing it with the dp tool from the website plus if you hit the l r x y a b buttons all at once you can access the other features like suspend any codes you have running slow the game with 3 or 4 slow motion speeds and reset to the main rom selection menu on the evolution and if you have the ds light you can turn off your backlight in the game

I'm thinking about buying a Cyclo to replace my R4, and i have some questions;1) Can i just move all my .sav's onto the Cyclo, or will i have to convert them?2) I have a friend that is contantly afraid of breaking the case when he takes out/puts in the SD card. Is it really that bad?3) Just to be clear, what Slot-2's will support GBA games?4) any other problems? I.E. The R4 gets a little weird when loading some games, like I've seen it go through the "Loading game" progress bar like 5 times before the game dosent work. Thanks!

I'm getting one of these in the mail tomorrow and I was wondering if I were to xfer all my DS saves onto my comp with my AR DS/GBA MAX (the one that let you hack AC:WW), would I be able to use the save files on the CyclosDS?

Unfortunately, the best answer i can give you is to try the converter at Shunyweb. If you have a .duc/.dss file for it, you will hit browse, then select the file, in the first drop-down menu, select "Action Replay Max DS", in the second box, select "Acecard 2 | CycloDS | EDGE...". Then hit "Convert". I've never had to use this converter, nor can I try it (Lacking the files), but this is the most straight-forward method I can think of. Just make sure that your save is the same as your rom name, i.e. "Animal Crossing: WW.nds" and "Animal Crossing: WW.sav"Also, Don't forget to upgrade your firmware first thing to 1.51 Here, and your Moonshell from here. I also recommend you visit this page and get the User Manual as well as the EvoTools, which will contain an installer. This program will make .nds files show their game icon, and if you go to "Start>All Programs>Evolution Tools>Options" You can set "Global Rom Trimming" which will automatically trim your roms when you put them on your SD card.Good Luck!

I'm thinking about getting this for myself, But I want to use Opera and play GBA games etc. what would be a recommended slot-2 card for the Evo? And could anybody possibly link me to a guide to set up that stuff?(I'll search first though) Thanks.

Alright, just picked one of these up an hour ago for my little brother's birthday present. When it says "Beta & Development features", I presume that means that the CycloDS doesn't support GBA games still, right? Big selling point for me (not so much my 11-year old little brother), which means that I'm probably going to get an M3 REAL to replace my 3-or-so-years-old M3 Perfect. Unless...?EDIT: Actually, when it also says "PassMe function (boot from slot 2)", does that mean I can use my M3 Perfect for GBA games, the CycloDS for DS games, and either one for Moonshell without having to shell out the extra money for a EZ-Flash 3-1 Expansion Pack or the like to boot GBA games from the CycloDS?

That's what I'd assume. I was gonna buy one, but then news of the DSi hit... and NO, Cyclo EVO WILL NOT run on DSi... yet.

Right, well, I got one. Works perfectly-- Cyclo for DS games and M3 for GBA games. Other than one suspicious freeze in-game (though I'm sure that's only because my DS is really frickin' old and I was messing around with the card while it was in the slot) the only technical problems I have nowadays are related to Moonshell.1. Moonshell occasionally completely freezes when it attempts to play a song and then when I try to relaunch it, it goes right back to trying to play that song and the only way I can fix it is hooking my SD card up to a computer and deleting the song so that Moonshell stops trying to play it right at launch. I can't even get Moonshell to stop auto-jumping to the file/folder it was last playing when I turned the DS off, which is really, REALLY annoying. Anyone else have problems like this?2. I have some of my music in subfolders as well as music that's simply in the "Music" folder. Is there any way to play EVERY file in the Music folder, subfolders included, in Moonshell 1.71?

SoOoOooooo... I've never had a flashcart before so I've got some n00b questions. The cart itself supports SDHC. Does the reader that connects the flash cart to one's PC support SDHC?Also, what is a reputable and cheap place to by CylcoDS?I was going to go here... http://www.gameplayfun.comThanks in advance!

Wait, isn't that reader provided by you, instead of by CycloDS?I could be wrong, I don't own a CycloDS, but I'm pretty sure they don't give you an SD card reader to use with your PC.

Also, what is a reputable and cheap place to by CylcoDS?I was going to go here... http://www.gameplayfun.comThanks in advance!

Wow their sales price is pretty cheap!Never heard of gameplayfun.com...but then again I don't buy online much.A quick search didn't come up with anything dodgy though. The most reliable to me are dealextreme and shoptemp:http://www.dealextre....dx/Forum.29384http://shoptemp.com/...-Lite-p-42.htmlDealExtreme has a fantastic reputation for reliability, low prices, and free shipping worldwide for all items.ShopTemp has a solid reputation, as the official shop of GBATemp (the top community and authority for/on flashcarts), has pretty competitive prices, and also does free shipping on a lot of popular products, like most flashcarts. And it ships everywhere too, like dealextreme.None of their prices currently beat the sales price on gameplayfun.com, though.
