Don't get me wrong here, Mario should expand his horizens a bit but he starting to get really old. I loved him when I was like 5-10 years old and I don't mind him now but I think mario should just give it a rest and let Nintendo start thinking up some new ideas.

That couldn't possibly happen unless Sony bought Nintendo. Otherwise, all Mario games have and always will feature on Nintendo consoles. If this actually did happen it would be pretty damn cool though.However it might ruin the entire cute, childish style of Mario games.

Mario is THE Nintendo icon and he should (and will) never apear in other consoles, not like that blue hedgehog from Sega...

Wouldn't work. Mario and Zelda are Nintendo's biggest ventures. I doubt they'll allow Mario to become syndicated.

i agree with (some of) the others...mario is a nintendo name, many people go for nintendo for the games such as mario, zelda, andeven pokemon.... it would be silly for nintendo to lose this figue...like mickey mouse leaving disney

Nintendo is never going to let Mario go to Sony because Mario is so popular. It is such a big icon that if Nintendo puts Mario on Playstation 2 they would lose a lot of business to Sony. In my opinion Mario is the one of the few things standing in the way Sony dominating Nintendo.

Asking for mario on the ps2 is like asking for masterchief and the halo series on ps2....it isn't going to happen.

i reckon that mario should be nintendo exclusive. coz thats part of the sale of nintendo consoles, is that you get to play mario games. and mario is basically nintendo's mascot, so it's like an obligation to stick with em. apart from international copyright laws. it's like seein god of war on wii - not gonna happen.
