The worst Final Fantasy game I have ever played would have to be FFIX. Though the graphics were better than FFVII or FFVIII, FFIX looked way to cartoonish. I dislike that game with an intensity.

all of them,m, if you missed one game then you couldnt understand the rest of the series and you'd feel lost.

i would also have to say crystal chonicals also... i seriously hated that game... although i had to beat it just because i beat every other final fantasy out there... excluding final fantasy 11 online...

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance really did it for me. I just didn't like what they did with the series, ESPECIALLY given that this was after the PSX Final Fantasy Tactics. What the heck, bringing children in from The Real Earth...!?

Final Fantasy X on the PS2 is the only Final Fantasy game that i didn't enjoy (although i never played Final Fantasy X-2). I just found it boring and stopped playing after around 30 hours.

By far the Final Fantasy games on the original gameboy were the worst. I think they only made the two.

Those aren't Final Fantasy games. Those are actually part of Square's SaGa series. I don't remember the Japanese title for those games, but they're related to Romancing SaGa, SaGa Frontier, and Unlimited SaGa (I may have missed one or two). The only Gameboy "Final Fantasy" that isn't part of the SaGa series is Adventure, which is actually part of the Mana series, like Secret of Mana, Seiken Densetsu 3, Legend of Mana, Children of Mana, Heroes of Mana, etc.At any rate, the worst Final Fantasy game by far is Mystic Quest. Never heard of it? Guess why.Also, for those who hate IX, try to look past the way the characters were designed. It's really a well-crafted game, probably one of the better games in the series. The only reason why all the characters are super-deformed like that is because the older games had super-deformed characters too. It's just that they were in 2D and most games were made like that, so it didn't seem so out of place.By far the Final Fantasy games on the original gameboy were the worst. I think they only made the two.

Don't know, i personally think Tactics wasn't that great, unique and all but way too difficult, at least in FF8 i could junction 100 death to status attack...heh heh

The worst FF game I have played on the playstation was FF VII. The graphics made me cringe. Although the plot was good I stopped playing after a few hours because the graphics bugged me.

Id have to say FF Mystic Quest which was on the super nintendo and mostly was you attack enemy attack you attack enemy dead yah. Though firewocky if you thing FF7 is the worst FF game why is you avatar the lifestream from FF7?

i actually hated ff8 first, too, but after giving it another go a few years later i realized that it's actually a very good game (better than ff9, at least). though the worst ff game i've played would be ffta. i had expected so much more after fft for ps1, and was incredibly disappointed...

ffviii bored me when i tried to play it but maybe because i was 10 years old when i tried to play it. I never really got into it and wish i could try it again to see if it was just my lack of attention span. But i never liked ffv that much. no matter how much i tried to play it. i was only able to play through it completely once.

speaking of graphics, FF7 is the worst but the storyline is FF7. FF8 is awsome too but the story is not so exciting, the ff9 has greate graphic but i think it is too easy finished the game even a 12 year old can play that game

I never liked the storyline for Final Fantasy 9. I thought that Final Fantasy 8 was good except for the junction system.
