i think final fantasy II was the worst, the way you leveled your stats up was stupid and overcomplicated.

The worst FF game ever is FF Crystal Chronicles..... its too boring to get into and has one of the worst battle system i've ever seen.(Sold his Crystal Chronicles for $2 to a kid who had just got all his games stolen) :blink:

ff1 and 2 cuz you would get tired of the battle sequence and gameplay... although their current revised verison includes a movie at the start...

It would have to be thoses more older final fantasys like the one where u picked ur first character's class and such...not the gameboy ones (those were quite fun) but the NES ones i believe. I also hated ff origin or something like that with the characters: Leon and Maria...though i did beat it, it was hard and became so repetitive...yet i had to beat it.

Relative to the level of technology and experience Square had, Final Fantasy 9 was the worst, I believe. It particularly disgusted me when they had to add a pointless "extra boss" right at the end. Yeah, those fancy words were cool enough to be put in the Bible, but that doesn't mean anything. I'm not flaming the religion. Don't kill me. :(

FF10-2 is the worst I dont really count it as a real FF game. It is so bad. I hated it and is disgraced the whole FF series

worst? definitely 9. i think square went a bit frantic, seeing as though it was going to be the last ff release on the psx platform, was it going to set a standard? it didnt, unfortunately, it just sucked. and so did ffx-2.5 was good, and challenging too. 6 was one of the best. 1 was awesome in its heyday mate, you couldnt compare that game to any other in its time, as well as 2,3,4 mystic quest and the rest.

I think the worst FF is Tactics Advance. But I´m not saying "That game sux!!", I only said I liked it the least. All other games are cool, and better than this.PS: I excluded FF Mystic Quest, because the game is one of the worst RPG ever made, as it is the first Final Fantasy (they were trying to see if it´d make sucess).

I'd say Crystal Chronicles. It was childish and a complete waste of time. Then again, it proves my thesis that the Gamecube is for kids. :DI don't really understand why people don't like FF8. Is good character and story design that hard for you guys to like or something? :drool:

I hated Final Fantasy IX's trance system. I would be saving it up for a big boss battle and then some random weak creature hits me. zzz Also didn't like how weak the trances were. Most of them were basically the same thing, just boosted stats. (Ex. Garnet)

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles was honestly one of the worst games I have ever played. In my opinion it is the worst Final Fantasy and shouldn't even be considered one because the game had no point, the story was really weak, and in the end it felt like there was no pay off to it all. The ending lacked.. well.. an ending. Disgusting as a game and as a Final Fantasy.

ff9, i loved the fight on the stage at the beginning where u gotta make it look as good as possible, i got 100% on that, but after blank was turned to stone, i didn't like the game at all, he was the coolest character.

I'm new in this forum, but personally I think tha worse game was FFX, the story is bad, and the main caracter is gay.Also, i want to defend the ff8, I like very much this game and the story is very good but the people simply don't play it to the end. Is here where the story get's interesting.I know that the junction system is no common but isn't too bad.Please forgive my english and costarrican.
