the ds is newer, so many people would buy the ds, but the gba has many good things about it and has been around for a long time

well, you should get the ds for all the new games, and you can still play your old gba games, my sister has a DS and i lvoe the touch screen feature, so yeah go for it

DS. By far. Why? Because, you have two screens, you can touch one with a little pen thingy (lol), more 3d type games, pokemon pearl lol, etc. I love most all of the DS, especially the colors (blakc and white)

although i loved my gb sp dearly you've got to update or you'll be left in the dust... i hated that feeling when i thought i could just skip on the whole handheld craze and had to try and catch up when i became interested

GBA ALL THE WAY! but thats just me. im just use to my GBA thats all and they have virtually the same games except that the DS just plays it with a touchpad

The GBA is more like old school with exellent graphics; the DS is totally different... it's like another format

well gba has its up but also its downs it has some original games but the ds can play those n more but i have both n i still have ma gba ill never give chad away lol but i have the ds lite so get dat =D

DS is more fun because you can poke the screen with a little stick thing but it is annoying when you are playing the DS Mario game

i like the gameboy way more cuz itz easier to handel n itz closer to a real control but i dont use the ds much so im not used to it either

I will always like the GBA more then the DS.. it may not be better technology but it just feels better to use then the DS does..
