Both Pokemon and Digimon are going to hell, to tell the truth. They're recycling the storylines and it gets annoying after a while.

Yes the always sad story of when a company which has started a good thing but doesnt know when to end it. it happened with mega man, pokemon, digimon, and countless others.

To most fans of Digimon it has already died compared to what they did to it after the second season. The first and second season is better than most other T.V. shows for me that is. As for Pokemon it is the show that will never die that should have died a long time ago.

Both series seem to be at the point where they are milking it for all it's worth. You should be able to tell that the quality and thought put into both is just ridiculously simple.

Do they have Digimon for PS2? I think so, I remmeber watching it after pokemon, but I dont even watch that, I dont have time to keep up with the series. I downloaded Battle Spirit 1 and 2 for GBA and might try them out but they look like Mortal Kombat with sprite changes!

I remember the first digimon, that one was awesome. The 2nd was alright, but after that it was bad. Same thing with pokemon...

O noez. Digimon = Pokeyman ripoffs wherever I go. Seriously. STOP IT.(If you insist, I tell you Digimon was released earlier than Pokemon in Japan, where both franchises originated. It might have released later wherever else, but ultimately it was released earlier than Pokemon.)While I enjoy the Pokemon games, I can't say the same for the anime. A jogressing show that has a 'plot' which repeats every episode:Ash and friends meet new people. New Digimon appears. Team Rocket appears and tries to steal Pokemon/Pikachu. Pikachu thunder. Team Rocket blasts off. Everyone's happy.Almost all the episodes are like that, or similar. Repetitive, boring, and childish. Feh. Is getting OLD.Whereas Digimon anime, even not that impressive, at least has this thing called a plot. Digimon has different enemies, and Digimon actually die. Pokemon has damn Team Rocket all the time, and Pokemon don't even keep injuries. If not for the battles and stuff, Pokemon would be competing with Teletubbies.All in all, Digimon is NOT a ripoff of jogressing Pokemon. How would you feel if you loved Pokemon a lot but it was being called 'a jogressing ripoff of Tamagotchi'? Hmm?

i supported digimon from the beginning. no pokemon to me. totally no.. well... agreed with Melssie, digimon has the plot.. which is worth watching.. but pokemon??? gosh.. yeah there is somewhat a plot (not so clear).. but repeating scenes every episodes?? omg..no matter what, i still support digimon..

I think in anime, as someone said above, Digimon is far superior but I think the Pokemon games are much better.

I really agree on what Melssie and one_manga says, but there is more to it then that. Digimon will actually be more accepted by me over Pokemon just because each series has something significantly different. I remember watching the current episodes of Pokemon and eventhough I did enjoy them it still has the repeated theme of Ash needing to relearn skills which I thought he already learned, example being how trainers have to use one element to overcome another. And for Digimon there is always something new, or you feel it is new because the characters always change and have their own quirks for each season.
