definitely xp. however vista do run on 64-bit. if your pc is 64-bit compatible but runs on a 32-bit os, half it's processing power isn't used...but if you have a 32-bit machine like mine...well...and there are still few softwares on 64-bit...

Vista for me...though as for the first it have lot of driver's issues, but now it work just fine...after lot reading about vista i found out that Vista have a better memory management than Xp...and it seems true since my R6 play more faster in vista than XP....moreover now all the games has support for vista... ;D

I've even heard rumors of Microsoft planning on a new OS in four years. 'Could just be rumor mongering, but considering what has been going on lately with the lukewarm reception of Vista, I wouldn't be surprised.

I haven't tried the Vista yet, but I think I'll stick with the XP for now. Most games are not compatible with the Vista yet.

I really like XP when compared to Vista. I think my views will stay that way until the service packs start coming out. My XP is customed to look like Vista and Mac fused though. D:

I would recommend XP for gaming cuz Vista use too much of everything and nothing left for gaming and it's too fancy looking, i would recommend Vista for other stuff like movies and photos or others, but for gaming? XP ALL THE WAY

I'll agree for now. Until the bugs are worked out of Vista, XP is in the lead. :D

XP is stable (SP2) because it is mature OS.If you want a pretty GUI, you can use themes for XP.If you want to change to Vista... wait for the Vista with Service Pack 2.

I have Vista and it looks nice, though it, currently, has some real compatibility issues. Because of this, XP gets my vote, for now. Until Vista becomes better compatibility-wise, anyway!
