I dual boot ubuntu and XP. Vista has annoying DRM issues, is a pain to use, is still way too incompatible and unstable, and isn't compatible with half the stuff out there....I'll stop before this turns into a rant...I hate Vista.Meep!Zithras

I still have Window XP. I prefer that way. If you want Window Vista? Better to buy powerful computer with Window Vista than switching from XP to Vista on the same computer. That's sucks.

most of the games i play have high hardware requirements and they are only stable on xp. so i prefer xp because it takes up less hardware requirements and i dun have to get a very high powers system to play my games. i dun really c much difference between vista and xp, to me i tink vista is just for show.

I've had Vista for almost a year - came bundled with the laptop I bought at the time, so was no extra expense. It's decent, solid. No problems.Billy

Personally , I think that XP rocks! although Vista isn't all that bad . I prefer XP cause its a stable version and doesn't have many chinks in it as in Vista . And about the superior skin of Vista , haven't you heard of softwares like Stardock:Blinds and many others than allow you customise your desktop ! :P

at the moment i'd say xp, vista is just too buggy, but seeing as i am a gamer, eventually, all the nice shiny new games out there will require vista, so ill switch to vista, but only when it has drastically improved.
