It's in perfect working condition. You're either unlucky or clumsy to break something like that.

Yeah, my T.V. sits on top of a table, so I put my PS2 next to it. The cords from the controller would stretch across from the table to the bed. And so one day, someone happened to run right through then, therefor making my PS2 fall 4 feet to the floor. It didn't work for a year.

Yeh I broke it. I have it sitting on the T.V. and one day I Pulledo n the contorller lead and it fell down, it pushed the end of the contorller wire into the controller socket and ruined it. Was upset....till I got a 360!!!

I just keep all my games wereever i put them they are stactered all over my whole entire house and yet i have never had a game that does not work and my system never has brokenare you guys like throwing them out of your car windows? I mean no offense but you must be trying pretty hard to break a ps2 especialy if it is one of the old big ones, idk about the little ones thoughi think that a 2 foot drop would probably break that right in half, but idk, i dont have one. But, hey, thats just my opinion

Well...I've come close but...the game was usually messed up because I'd get frustrated at the game and slam the controller down on top of the PS2. Yeah...had some anger issues back then. It ended up destroying my friend's GTA: Vice City. Oops, hehe

I didn't play my PS2 for a while, and it must have collected dust in its fans or something because it froze a couple of times when I started playing it again. Works perfectly now though, thank God.

I've only ever broke a controller and a memory card, but never the console itself.
