The day when I broke my Ps2 is when I thougt it would be cool to display it in a vertical position without its official vertical stand. While I was using it, with all the excitement, I have not noticd that the controller's wires were all tangled togther. So when I accidentally pulled the controller to myself, the Ps2 came with it.

Actually, it wasn't mine I broke it was my cousin's. I tripped over the cord and it hit the floor and dislodged something inside. Now we use it as a bookend. 
But hey I bought a new one a while ago and my cousin uses it as often as he wants.

My cat chewed out the backwire that connects the PS2 to the TV... annoyed the hell out of me. had to buy a new one for like $30.. bugger cats..I didnt my friend did he tripped on his wires and fell on it

I have an original PS2. I broke off the CD cover but that was intentional to use this *special* game software and equipment. Other than that, it works like a charm.

mine is a ps2 slim and it still working properly, for a console that stands up waiting for someone to make it drop which still hasnt happen is quite a relief. im still worried that the exhaust for the slim isnt really good and might overheat and ruin my ps2

That is not difficult to do at all. Throw it once and it breaks already!mine still works i wonder who u can break a ps2
I'm very careful with all of my consoles, so I've never broken one. I couldn't bear to see one break, either.

If anyone's playstation still works from their very first one (I'm talking about those who had theirs at least 2 or more years), they are extremely lucky. I've went through 4 playstations and I take great care of my games. None of my games have any scraches, but I keep getting bad playstations.

What do you mean you're lucky if you've had your PS2 for more than 2 years? I don't really take care of my consoles at all, I've had mine for 4 years, and it works still, perfectly. My games keep going bad, the CDs keep getting scratched, but only my really old ones =PI broke my controller part where it's supposed to go into the PS2. I was in an argument with my brother, and he broke it D= I think I punched him in the face for that.

ya my ps2 doesnt even read a lot of my discs anymore. like i have prob. 20 games or so and only like 3 of them work. it always tells me to please enter a playstation os ps2 console disc and the sreen is all red. weird stuff. i got pissed when my madden didnt work.

nearly.. heater fell on it.And lightning has struck it twice and hasn't killed it but has killed my rear projection and another CRT.. with use of a surge protector!

My friend accidentally kicked my ps2 because he won against me for the first time at a tekken game but my ps2 didn't break it was my game cd that didn't work so he bought me another cd hehe
