I have a slim PS2... those things are FRAGILE I've never dropped it, I keep it off the carper, and away from the cats. Yet mine now will freeze every 5 or so minutes (the lens busted from ti overheating *grumbles* stupid slim PS2)

Well My bro Is 33 Hes Smart and He was fixing it but he took it all apart then he had to leave cause he was going to dinner with his wife or something so mine is Broken Now he still gotta fix it =.=

mine is a slim type ps2, back then i always use play with it, then for some while about half a year i haven't used it and when i want to play it somehow wont read the disc, but i did some alternative sollutions and its great i can play with it again........

The only thing that has broken on mine is the face plate for the drawer has come off a few times.

ughhh mine is working...kinda. i dont really know what wrong but the disc isn't spinning. it'll say loading, flash twice, then stop. but we don't really use it anymore. we usually play the wii now but i still need to finish rogue galaxies

i never broke it, but i had a problem with the eye and i had to take it apart and clean it.

yea i threw mine on the floor and started jumping on it when i got my 60 gb ps3... coz it can use ps2 and ps1 games... i am so happy... ps2 is junk compared to ps3... ps3 ftw

We had the first gen PS2, and trust me, endurance race after endurance race in Gran Turismo? Yea, it MELTS your optical lense. That and it's first gen. (It's gotta die sometime!!!)

While mine is fully working, its considered "broken" by Gamestop. I tried to trade it in, but they wouldn't accept it because the disc tray cover is missing.
