yes we had our first ps2 broken and we never fixed it because it would cost too much. instead my brother just bought a new one. you know, the smaller version? and i'm in love with it.

mine broke like 5 years ago. but then i got a gamecube when it cam out. so didnt matter. but ps2 had way better games.

Yes, Actually I find most Ps2's start having at least the normal Wear + Tear issues about 1 year after the original purchase. This includes symptoms of it having general read errors, (i.e. not playing DVDs any longer, and then even fails to play PSX games as well) but I was curious if this behavior was also native in the PS2 Slim system. I have been considering picking one up but thought I could gather some info about this on here first. So if anyone has owned a PS2 slim for over a year, let me know if it's having any of these errors. THX

That was the same situation with my mom. Both my game in the console and the console itself was broken. so i had to buy a new game and console.I didnt my friend did he tripped on his wires and fell on it

i didnt mines spoiled and it dosent read some of my cds but my friend broke it when one of his baby friends pulled the wires andfell from a height then he bought a new onei have it doesnt work anymore

I watched my friend's PS2 catch fire form over-playing. First it started to smell, then smoke, and a second later a flame popped out and we had to get the fire extinguisher V_VIt was a sad, sad day.
