mine stopped reading any discs. ecxept for finaly fantasy X. i dont know why FF was the exception, but it was.

yeah i put it on a stand and it fell of and it smashed

I've had a couple of PS2 phats and a Slimline. First one, I had to take apart and clean out enough dust to make a brick (I got it from EBGames, before they became GameSTOP.), I think the laser went out and I used it as a door stop afterwards. Second PS2 i had was my Slimline, but my uncle walked into my room one night kind of drunk and stepped on it. Wouldn't play PS2 games anymore after that, but it would PSX games. Only PSX game i had was Xenogears, so I kinda took it to the local pawn shop and duped them into buying it, and hen bought a phat from them with the money, lol. I still have that one.
