The Halo Series (especially the weapons in Halo 3 though i didn't quite like the way they changed the amount of ammo you could carry etc). The Doom series has always been a favourite too though Doom 3 was a little bit disappointing...

I'd have to say that the best game's Half-Life. It's got a good storyline (albeit a little confusing if you mute it 
) and it's got a good damage system... not 1-hit death in single-player, save for obvious places.

The Half-Life series (1, 2, episodes, etc.) are the best FPSs. Ever. Great graphics (each at its time), great story, physics, weapons, everything is great.

Yea same here. It was good for the Gamecube but its even better for the WiiResident Evil 4 is probably the best classic shooter.Resident Evil 4 is my favorite. I just got it on the Wii too and it's great there.

The best fps is Gears of War 2 because of its awesome gory game play, no lag online, cinematic campaign, co op and bots in multiplayer mode

My favorite FPS game is Call of Duty 4. I love the multilayer and single player versions of it.

My favorite is Perfect Dark on the 64. It was a really solid game, especially for when it first came out, and is definitely one of my favorite games of all time.

Perfect Dark for N64, but I agree with others when it has to come on multiplayer: Golden Eye :shifty:Star fox 64. It was cool to see how many enemies you defeated and see the money that you suppose to win according how many you killed.

Hard to choose, but for me at the moment it's House of the Dead: Overkill.I'm a huge fan of on-rails shooters (cause I'm slack and it's easy ;P) and the storyline is actually pretty good.It's funny, as well. Real funny.
